Again, this is a ANIME thread, show me where it states ANYWHERE that we are only allowed to use the manga as canon source in a ANIME thread.
The thread doesn't say anything about anime. If the OP doesn't specify, we use the canon source. That's the manga.
Again, show me Superman destroying a planet.
Show me Goku destroying a planet first.
Put the mag feat up so that we can see those humans in the background helping him pull the planet.
LOL. You think the strength of normal humans contributed in any significant way? J'onn specifically stated that they were using Superman's strength to move it. If anyone else was contributing, it was so small as to be negligible.
Just because Superman fought people that destroys planet doesnt mean that he can also destroy planets.
It does if he overwhelms their attacks and hurts them when planet destroying forces didn't.
Wolverine has fought people that has thrown mountains and shifted tectonic plates... I guess that mean he is just as powerful.
If you're talking about the Hulk, when Wolverine was first introduced he did well against him but that was before his current powerset was established as not having that kind of strength. Wolverine can fight the Hulk and not get killed due to his immortality/healing factor and adamantium skeleton. If you show me an example of Wolverine actually matching the Hulk in arm wrestling or another direct application of strength (like stopping a punch from him), then you've have an argument, but you don't.
Show me Superman destroying something that was the size of earth.
Show me Goku doing it first.
Your arguments fail... Akira gave them rights to show what he wrote on the big screen. Its the same sh** that he already wrote but they just made it into an Anime instead of just making another book.
Wrong. He gave them the rights to make an adaptation. So they added fillers and scenes that were in the original. Akira had no supervision over these. In interviews he said he was often surprised at what they came up with or added in. They have nothing to do with the canon material.
The xmen stories doesnt have anything to do with the comic where the anime does.
Let's see, the X-Men movies have the same characters as the comics, the same premise, the same powers (though weaker)....
If you want to use examples where the storylines are followed, look at the Fantastic Four cartoon which followed the plots of a lot of comics, like the first arrival of Galactus. Still doesn't make the cartoon canon.
Example, they wrote the Superman/Batman movie directly from the comic so if you were to post that as evidence of Superman being able to do something power wise then I would agree since, well, it came directly from the comic. The only difference is, they put it on the big screen.
No, the difference is that it's an adaptation made by animators and is not part of the DC comics canon. It is completely different.
We see buu destroy a Galaxy in the anime... thats proof enough for me that his is a Galaxy destroyer. [/B]
Then you're a troll since you're ignoring the fact that it is contradicted by the canon manga written by Toriyama. Toriyama had nothing to do with that scene in the anime and it was created by someone else.
No one in DBZ can destroy more than a planet.
Its different CRESHOSK... the xmen cartoon wasnt based directly from the comics whereas the anime is exactly like the manga except with a little add ons every now and then.
A lot of the storylines in the cartoon were taken directly from the comics.
Again (hope you understand this)... this is a ANIME THREAD.... ANIME... if you dont like what is said in a ANIME or on a ANIME thread "ask the mods to make a MANGA thread for you". There was nothing said about the manga in the rules, you all made this crap up to down play a character.
No, you're wanking by using non-canon material. The manga is the only canon. The anime is an ADAPTATION, made by different people entirely.
Would you like for me to ask the Mod for you? I'll ask him to make a manga thread for you... one moment.
The manga is the original source, thus it overrides all other sources in absence of an official canon policy. This is the way the rules work, this is the way they have always worked.
