compared to what? Thor and so forth a long with many of the gods are far less powerful in mythology then Marvel. Marvel gods tend perhaps, not to be as strong as DC gods, but DC over powers everything. They are convinced more powerful=better.

compared to how they ere written in past decades. I too disagree that constant power ups make things more interesting but on the other hand I'd like to have the pantheons powerful as they were in the 70s and 80s

I mean which characters are you refferring to? I mean back during that time Ares was taken out by a machine gun. I dont recall gods being treated overly powerful back then at all. Dident during that time Thor was pierced by a bullet?

Ares had problems with machine guns in the Mighty Avengers. Recent stuff mainly. In the late 70's he was the embodiment of war. he was able to take over entire cities by making the people wanna fight each other and stuff. Pluto had similar displays.

As for Thor and bullets I don't really want to go into detail but for every instance that he gets hurt by a bullet there are 3/4 that show him being unaffected by those. He had taken artilery and aircraft fire in the past without being wounded.

Anyway. bottom line Gods used to be something more than 6070 tonners with "enhanced" durability and I'd like them return to that status

Odin will probably return too

Thank you.

Totally badass preview. I actually like Chaos King other name "Mikaboshi" and his white mask look.

Now he seem like Void rip off w/o it. 🙁

When the first issue or prologue coming out? Its not a good sign in the VS forum.
Mikaboshi > Odin = Zeus? O_O lol

Naw, I believe Zeus was caught off guard.

do you think the void part of sentry is an aspect of mikaboshi?

Not through this event.

He stuck fighting Surtur for the rest of his life. Poor Surtur.

I doubt it.

It would just mess up Sentry origin, when he comes back.

But it would be fun to know if they're though, or maybe share common background, as both characters are nothingness and void.

Chaos King sounds so cliche that it should be labeled gay. I prefer Amatsu-Mikaboshi. Mikaboshi's look and origin is what makes him interesting. Give Void the name Chaos King. A shitty name for a shitty character.

He apparently has 2600 attack points.

Look out Thor.

Blasphemy ^

Thor eats Blue-eyes white dragons for post workout shake.

Read the special effect, he makes Thor switch to defense in which case Chaos King has him beat by 400 points. 😛

Chaos King is a cheating snake. The way he beat Zeus, was through tricks!

I was a little cheesed out by Hercs little go get em speech. I was also wondering why Marvel decided to launch this series before the Thanos Imperative ended.

I doubt they'll interlope. Chaos war will deal with interplanetary pantheons and seems like a somewhat smaller, not to mention lamer, event.

I agree about timeline differs.

Can't say its lame, till Spiderman & Logan KO a god like ease. 😛

Currently Thanos Imperative event is happening in 1-2 days (issue#1-4).
Bit slow as well on release...

the guys in the cancerverse are gods/demons why wouldnt it interlope? the writer in the interview said they do but he isnt saying anything about it yet
mikaboshi would probably take over the cancerverse gods

how is it a smaller event though? his goal is to destroy the multiverse not a single universe

The Cancerverse "gods' are abstract-like entities that have removed the concept of Death from their realm so that everything lives forever...I don't see Mika taking them over really. Just 1 of their pet tools (the "Galactus Engine"😉 put to flight an army of Celestials, Galactus, Tenebrous, and killed at least Aegis. Not exactly a group of Skrull gods.

have you been reading the interviews?
Mika is an abstract like entity he is the personification of the void before the big bang, not to mention there are also gods that are abstract like entites in 616 as well he has far more than the skrull gods in his legion and they said some abstracts will be involved in chaos war ,lord choas oblivion galactus for example
