Or buu could just turn Thor to candy and I am pretty sure Buu would get off his attack first since he can cover the distance almost instantly.

Buu will not tank a godblast and reform. Yes Buu would let him because thats in Buu's character he think he's invincible he thinks he can reform from anything. Prove Buu can resist his soul being bfred 😐.
