MAgnega needs feats to stop Link from just raising his mirrorshielld while lifted, or shooting Ratchet.
Edit: Link's displayed multiple levels of magic resistance, and this spell doesn;t even function on bosses? >____> I don't see it even lifting Link. 😐

Sephiroth in KH2 is immune to all kinds of magic magic except for Reflect and Magnet. (And the Trinity Limit) Not effecting bosses is only gameplay like what most games do.

Edit: Iron boots? Puts Link in a slow state just less then what was wanted by Magnet making him a target to Sora's speed and Ratchets bomb.
Edit:..Then again it'd just work like the magnets in TP work.

Nope, one Link got it from Guerudo's fortress, and one got it from the Great Fairy. You have no proof to say that its the same exact spell. For all we know the Great Fairy's could be greater than OoT's ice arrow.

I don't think anyone has ever tried using magic on them outside of gameplay, but Xemnas is the final boss. It works on him, and according to you from the last thread I was in, since it's a fight that you have to win in order to beat the game, it's cannon.

Xemnas have any magic resistance feats outside gameplay? 😛 Also, Iron boots. Also, useless spell is useless, Link has a shield, and can shoost, and Sora's melee based.
Do you need to use Magnet to win? You need to reflect Ganon's magic to win. Does Xemnas have any magic resistance feats? Ganon certainly does.
