Replaying Legacy of Kain series I realize that quanchi112 was right.
Kain didn't forget a single spell from Blood Omen, since Blood Omen 2 isn't a part of the main continuity (or timeline), much as a "What if..." story line.
His attributes can be credited to him, as he splitted off to another timeline at that point. He also makes similar jumps in Defiance. But the gained dark gifts--i.e. Immolate--can't be credited to him.
I'd also like to address the teleportation ability in Defiance as it seemingly instantly airbornes a dozen enemies as Kain blitzes them all mercilessly.
I concluded that Kain is fast enough to keep up with Kain and since a mere Soul Dissection (ranged ability that tears the soul out of the victim, instantly killing them) would be enough to take Spider-man down I'm going to give this match to Kain.
