And by the way, Thor didn't beat the Sentry. Not only did Tony Stark do most of the damage by crashing the helicarrier into the Void, that was also the biggest piece of shit PIS I have EVER seen in any comic.
During the dark avengers limited series, The Sentry flew into the sun. He was disintegrated to nothing but bone. Then he began to heal himself automatically, his flesh rebuilding itself faster than the sun could burn it off.
Now you come to tell me that same person somehow died because Iron Man dropped a Helicarrier on his ass and Thor called down a lightning bolt?! That was BULLSHIT and you know it.
Brains are there for us to use. Let's try using them every once in a while.
All things being equal, both the Sentry and Thanos will prisonrape Thor.
Damage builds up and the Void isn't impossible to harm.
Clearly Thor's attack while he was empowered by the Norn Stones harmed the Void and caused him pain.
I'm assuming Thor's constant barrages of attacks and the Hellicarrier was just too much in such a quick succession.
Thor's lightning has been shown to be incredible powerful. If it can stalemate Zeus' thunderbolts, I don't really see a problem personally.
He means draw. Equality.
Thor's thunderbolts are powerful. Even as powerful as Zeus. But like you said, all the attacks were in quick succession. I still dont think it should have been enough, but I'm letting it fly more or less because they HAD to think of a way to kill the Sentry.
But that was a fight involving sooooo many different people. So damn many.
This is a fight involving Thanos and Thor ONLY!
Thanos will use Thor as a farming instrument.

Not really.
Thor and Odin have had a few encounters. In scenarios resembling fights, Thor has actually affected Odin with an attack, and at one point tanked Odin's blasts unharmed.
It's the scenes where Odin easily depowers Thor or manipulates his body such as removing his mouth etc. that show us how powerful Odin really is in comparison to Thor.
