STAR WARS: RETROSPECTON- Song of Remembrance

Sorry for lack of posting, been busy working over christmas 🙁

Does SF not include basic defenses also? If not I'll role with it to land some blows and then swap out ES for DW in my next go.

Initiative to them. Alek is zapped with the numbingly painful whip for 8 damage. The numbing is lingering... you're not sure, but you feel like you're moving slower. You throw a punch but it's like hitting a brick wall. Still 7 damage to the Osokan.

Beside you, Tarinda squeals and tries to hit back when the second Osokan hits her with his whip.

At the end of the hallway, Takuan runs an Osokan through and drags his saber upwards into the enemy's skull before withdrawing it. It goes down hard.

Can I swap ES out for DW now? If so Alek will dodge around the osokan using his superior speed to nip around him kicking out with a vicious side thrust kick to the osokans knee to knock it off balance, he'll then punch to the head. "Tar, get away from him!" He yells as he kicks out

Despite not being at the top of your game, you manage a solid hit against the Osokan for 7 damage. Tarinda is squaring off against hers when suddenly it is picked up and flung through the air down the corridor.

Takuan is beside you and the Osokan opts to strike at him, but misses.

"RUN!" Takuan yells at you. "Shoot him and run!"

Using gunslinger Alek almost super quickly draws his gun and fires rapidly at the osokan and makes a run for it. He grabs Tarinda as he goes.

Want to make any swaps to make that more effective?

Yeah I suppose swapping SF for 10KB would be quite prudent

The Osokan cracks his whip at Takuan again and it wraps around his lightsaber, leaving the two in a sparking mess of tug-of-war. This is when you open fire, blasting the Osokan in the chest twice for 8 damage. Your blasting gives Takuan a chance to free his saber and cut down the Osokan.

You and Tarinda run to the end of the corridor, which turns left. There are two policemen waiting for you there, and two more appeared at the other end of the corridor.

Alek lets out a blood curdling battle cry, he opens fire at the officers rapidly barraging them with blast after blast as tries to make an opening for their escape.

Refresh turn! Doesn't effect you any, though.

With initiative to them, the remaining Osokan comes at Takuan. Shortly after, it shoots up into the ceiling and is dragged across it before crashing down hard on the floor, unconscious. Takuan comes running after you.

Your fire fight with the police goes in your favor; you take a hit but your target goes down. Tarinda manages to wrestle a gun away from the other.

At the far end of this corridor stands another Osokan, powering up his whip.

As Tarinda wrestles with the remaining officer, Alek steps up, puts his blaster to the guys head and cooly fires twice before redirecting his attention on remaining osokan to which he starts firing rapidly at.

Takuan moves up to meet you as you take aim at the Osokan. It growls menacingly before you pump 8 points of damage into it with blasterfire. Tarinda stays with you as it comes barreling down the hall at you.

Alek takes a hip from the lash for 7 damage.

Alek leaps out of range of the whip whilst still firing rapidly at it's head

Initiative to the Osokan and his back-up. The Osokan opts to go for Takuan; obviously they hate him more than they hate you.

All three of you are ganging up on the Osokan this time. Alek and Tarinda blast away at it and drive it back before Takuan dives forward and runs it through. You are not sure which of you delivered the blow that drops it.

The police fire! Takuan is missed and he bats the bolt back as he withdraws his lightsaber from the pig. You are missed as well.

Alek curses under his tongue at the constant stream of enemies. He opens fire on the other police officers to get them out of the way. "Is there another way out of here?" He asks Takuan and Tarinda.

Takuan runs the Osokan through and twists the blade around inside of it before letting it drop.

"This is the best way," Takuan says. "The front will be barricaded by now, and swarming with authorities."

You blast down the policeman, leaving the way clear. This corridor leads to a small maintenance hall/loading garage in the back, where you brought in your equipment earlier for the show.

Alek drags Tarinda towards the back entrance "Come on, time we were out of here!" He keeps his gun handy as he looks through the loading garage.

The loading door of the garage is open, and a flood light shines in as the three of you step into it. Silhouetted by the light you can see various figures in light armor with blaster rifles raised in your direction.

"Come out with your hands up!" comes a shout, and a series of gas canisters come clanking down in the garage.

Right just to get a feel for the situation, am I looking at suicide if I put up a fight cuz I'm assuming my holdout blaster isnt going to do a lot against armored guards. I'm only asking cuz I assume if they were going for stun they would have just done it.

They are not wearing all-out military-grade armor; it will make them harder to put down but not impossible by any means.

It certainly does not appear that Takuan is going to surrender as well. You are rather surprised when the canisters that have been shot into the room rise into the air and go shooting back, striking a handful of officers with lethal force.

"We go through them," Takuan says, lowering his hand and raising his lightsaber.
