Only difference is, I except both ranges and look to the explanation of quick, precise, localized damage as helping explain the wide range. Whereas you look at the high range as the norm and arbitrarily dismiss the low range as aberration/PIS without bothering to think how they can be reconciled. Which is, ironically, the exact type of reasoning you criticize in others when you accuse people of taking only the low range as the norm and arbitrarily dismissing the high range as aberration/PIS.
Stop acting like this scene is Aunt May slapping Wolverine and knocking him down. He had his head smashed repeatedly into a steel girder, bending it out of shape. That'd knock him out. Less has. More hasn't. We deal with it.

Skaar and Ares didnt KO him though. Gorilla Man did but that was like the lowest showing Logan had in 30 years.

Skaar? Are you sure? becuases I am pretty certain Skaar couldent KO him and infact beat wolverine (who wasent even fighting back) by punching him literrally into the ground untill he was stuck not KOed.
victor I will give you that, however victory was unable to replicate the feat again even when he was getting free shots to wolverines head.

not really, all gorilla did was surprises attack him and manage to hold wolverine for a second as the robot dropped extremely large boulder on him and wolverine wasent even closes to be KOed.
i wasn't sayign who would win in a fight, only that ares ko'd him, which isn't necessarily a low showing, other than against the hulk, most strong characters seem to put him down in one shot (namor, sentry, skaar, ares, etc.)
the gorilla headbutted him and it seemed as if wolverine passed out, have a scan?
