Hope that's not all she can do with Metalbending. Her usage of those ropes is underwhelming, even if she does make it look useful due to her skill.

i thought the wires were cool. kinda reminded me of Spiderman the way she uses them to propel herself and save korra. But yeah, i would like to see more metal bending techniques.

Korra vs the elctrostaff guy was an awesome fight. Easily the best so far. :T

yup. the entire sequence starting from the time Pabu untied the team was spectacular.

Korra just called it that because it appeared to be some sort of metal bending trick when she first saw it.

Is there an official confirmation that it is actually metal bending? Because all of their "tricks" can easily be explained as a "spring-loaded" system of metal rope launchers.

Toph began teaching Metal Bending to the police force when she got older I believe it's been said. And all the police force use Metal Bending.

Lin called them the Metal Benders I believe.

They're using bending to manipulate the wires.

there are no devices on Lin's arms or wrists that would retract the wires... also, some sort of spring loaded system wouldn't allow her or her officers to wrap the wires around people as seen when Lin saves Korra or in the first episode when they wrap up Korra and Naga. Also, in the second episode, Lin unlocks Korra's restraints with bending.
