there are no devices on Lin's arms or wrists that would retract the wires... also, some sort of spring loaded system wouldn't allow her or her officers to wrap the wires around people as seen when Lin saves Korra or in the first episode when they wrap up Korra and Naga. Also, in the second episode, Lin unlocks Korra's restraints with bending.

They could move their fingers in a certain way to retract them: engages the reverse spring or some shizer. They also are covered in armor that is plenty big to house some gadgets.

That's true, but then there's the three graphic novels, the first of which shows Toph in her Metalbending school where she has 3 students. And where it states she started teaching metalbending to the populace.

And those last parts are from actual episodes. How can the wiki edit that?

Poor Tahno. I think that might have been too severe a punishment for the guy. I like how he told Korra to get Amon for him though.

Mako is back to his good old dickheaded self as of this episode. Yes Mako, she suspects Hiroshi is a bad guy because she is jealous that you're dating him and not her.

Yes, the Tahno conversation was very well down. Even I was moved to sympathy.

I felt that Korra was a little too sure that he was up to something just from an overheard conversation. But at least she didn't kick his door down and beat him up, so she's making progress I guess.

Lin is pretty much the best character. Lin, Bolin, Amon, Tenzin and Korra have been great.

Had it not been for his choice of words, I would agree. But the things he said were a little bit too suspicious.

Lin is cool. Probably my 5th overall favorite.

Meh, Lin called them Metalbenders anyway in the latest ep, and she's also a Metalbender for certain. Spring loaded mechanisms also wouldn't allow one to twist their metal-ropes around a target.

Seriously though, Asami owned Amon's Lieutenant. Clearly she is > Korra. And I hope she gets to redeem her father.

Asami did take him out rather easily. I've noticed that the Equalists kind of suck against h2h combat. Korra seems to do really well when she just goes at them with her fists and feet.

Asami should totally keep that gauntlet so we can have some sweet electro-fist duels.

They are trained to evade bending, which typically happens to be mid-long ranged, and they are used to landing their first few hits.
Still Amon's Lieutenant went down too easily IMO. I chalk it up to plot and/or him being surprised by Asami's speed. Mako and Korra certainly were.

Damn thing should be able to shoot repulsor blasts.

Also, Korra can babybend. mmm

heres hoping katara taught korra how to blood bend (probably not going to happen)cause it would be pretty bad ass.

Blood bending Amon to chiblock himself would be pretty funny.

So, has anyone noticed that everyones parents seem to have been killed by firebenders yet?

Finally:

Tarrlok is so awesome. I knew he was pulling of a little Xanatos Gambit with regards to the whole Police force against Amon thing he had going on. If the Police won, great, Amon is caught. If Amon won, Tarrlok doesn't look bad and can expand his own political agenda.

So awesome man.
