I wonder why Nick hasn't given this show the Young Justice treatment if they hate it so much. Would've been cancelled a year ago if they had IMO.

As for Amon being a better villain, the dude essentially turned into Nagato from Naruto after the reveal which makes his whole movement seem kind of pointless: essentially since it isn't brought up again afterwards.

Young Justice only got cancelled because of poor merchandise sails. Primarily toys in the girl demographic.

I thought it had more to do with the terrible time slot and marketing along with having hiatus that lasted months on end in addition to the toy sales.

What I'm saying is that Nick isn't trying hard enough to kill LoK

It's not Avatar if there isn't a forced sibling rivalry storyline. Though this looks to be better than Tarrlok and Noatak or Unalaq and Tonraq.

Ever notice that all those guys names end with an "ock" sound? It's dumb.

Following the Inuit culture, multiple names like that make sense.

Like how there's "A million Lee's" in the Fire Nation.

^ Funnily enough, all are Northern Tribe males. Even more funnily enough, all main Water Tribe characters are descended from the Northern Tribe in some way (Katara, Sokka, Korra, Amon/Noatak, Unalaq)

I like Kai. It is kind of sad though that his and Jenora's is the most interesting romantic plot of the show.

I'm not shitting on Lin, she has good reasons to be pissed off. Maybe not good enough to stay pissed off for decades after and ignore everyone, she really is a bitter loner, in that regard her sis was spot on.

But in a weird way I'm actually impressed even though this is borderline character regression: didn't know Tenzin had it in him.

I'll be honest here. I'm really liking Book 3 so far. And while episode 7 didn't do much to advance the storyline, it was a good episode IMO, mostly due to Tenzin's OOC tendencies, and Bumi being awesome.

I really don't want to like this show as much as I do. I don't want to be hurt again. :'(

Probably because sibling rivalry has been beaten even more than a dead horse than her motivations are pretty ****ing lame.

Zuko gave Azula a million chances to do better and she's been more hell of a sibling than Su ever was. Lin has been portrayed as a tough character both physically and mentally. Having her ***** about a relatively little thing was annoying. At least they resolved this pretty quickly.

The subreddit for Avatar had so many stupid conspiracy theories related to this.
