making fun of homeopathic medicine, not much to discuss.i guess none of that was believable but, there are natural cures that work b/c certain natural chemicals happen to be in a root or plant. the same chemicals that are extracted for headaches and or stomach aches pills and whatnot.
for instance some monkeys have figured out to eat charcoal to take care of upset stomach caused by the plant that they eat which releases a toxin.
some of us humans in 3rd world country have figured out that a certain type of clay actually taste sweet and is used as a filler and nutritional value due to the minerals inherent in it. animals also eat the clay as part of their dietary intake.
there is a line to how far homeopathic remedies can take u and also where it ends.
This is pretty needlessly vague. If a cure works, it is testable and repeatable. This is true of "natural" cures or synthetic ones. I use quotations for natural, because much of nature kills or hurts us. Natural =/= better. In any case, if someone finds a legit natural cure, there's a logical causal mechanism behind it, and it's not the same as homeopathy.
Homeopathic remedies have never shown positive test results beyond placebo. There is no line at which homeopathic remedies should end, because they shouldn't begin in the first place. They should have been stomped out in the lab when they were proven to be ineffective. Most just set themselves up as counter-culture answers to "big business," claiming cures that the FDA doesn't want you to know about. In reality, they simply lack the testing to legitimize their products, which, if they had such proof, they would instantly capitalize upon because it would mean more money and mainstream marketing.
Normally, placebos affects don't harm anyone, so many dismiss this as harmless or potentially helpful. But bogus promises that swindle people out of money is a huge harm in my book, and those responsible are aware of their deception. So, jokes aside, the heomeopathic enterprise in our country is disgusting.

I am serious when I say this:
When I was reading your post, the only thing I could think of...
Quacky people shaking "crystals" over someone's butt to try and help them with colon cancer.

Homeopathy is dangerous. People have been told to not accept regular medical treatment, but only homeopathy, and have died as a result.
Yup. Same with vaccination scares.
😬
like i said a limit to it..
headache: drink plenty of water (usually works)
aids: take a medical pill cocktail not chew on leaves at least till they can proof it.
mild fever or cold : plenty of water, nice and snug chicken soup has certain chemicals that help including salt and liquid.
shot or stabbed: go to the hospital to be sewn up and given antibiotics
and blood transfusion.
dont want to pop on a physical for physical enhancement drugs?
take a natural derived hormone supplement from plants with high lvl of testosterone.
high blood pressure and cholesterol increase omega oil intake from fish or natural pills along with healthy eating and exercise.
cancer: bone marrow transplant, chemo, surgery.. if u are lucky maybe a change in diet can also help.

Here's the problem with that:
That's not a homeopathci solution (lulz, pun), that would be a scientific one. (The mechanism of "thick" blood causing a headache. Can be "resolved" by putting electrolytes and water in the body. That's modern medicine, not homeopathy.)

Edit , wait, I think you are making a case for modern medicine. I'm not sure.
i'm am saying there are certain home remedies and homeopathic remedies that have worked in the past and work today. science has bn able to accredited it or disprove it.
that doesnt mean its no good or its quack medicine b/c science has yet to test it and if they do they can confirm or refute it that is fine.
if i am in a jungle and get bit by an animal or maybe even a poisonous snake.. if i dont have modern medicine i am more then willing to try local medicine like have clay mud or plants or oils applied on it.. if tribal ppl have figured out that it reduces the fatality rate and even infections but dont know how hell it's still better then nothing.

None of those are homeopathic. Homeopathy is not "natural remedies", it's the specific technique of diluting things that hurt you until none of the original substance remains, and believing that the resulting pure water has curative properties.
Well, homeopathic "remedies" also contain crap...like...crystals, animal parts, herbs.
😐
Yeah....snake oil.

Homeopathy is based on the idea that if you have symptoms, the cure is to take a (not necessarily related) substance that creates the same symptoms at a low (AKA, 'nonexistant'😉 dose by diluting it so much that there's no chance even a molecule of the original substance exists. For instance, if you have headaches an nausea, dilute arsenic would be considered a cure (regardless of what actually caused the symptoms).

Actually, a homeopathic drink would likely help with a headache that can be cured by drinking water. Possibly because they are the same thing.
you guys are all confusing me!! sqmad
if is the absurd youtube clip it doesnt work obviously...if it is some types of concoction..maybe... never know especially when it comes to certain home remedies for stuff like cramps and whatnot.. it can relieve certain non life threatening symptoms..
if it is some drop of poison arsenic and whatever in water in minuscule dose that wont work either..

No, that's not homeopathy. That's just alternative (read: stupid) medicine in general. If you're an alternative medicine buff, homeopathy is one technique in your arsenal, and those you mentioned are others.Homeopathy is based on the idea that if you have symptoms, the cure is to take a (not necessarily related) substance that creates the same symptoms at a low (AKA, 'nonexistant'😉 dose by diluting it so much that there's no chance even a molecule of the original substance exists. Yeah, it is.
Homeopathy uses many animal, plant, mineral, and synthetic substances in its remedies. Examples include Arsenicum album (arsenic oxide), Natrum muriaticum (sodium chloride or table salt), Lachesis muta (the venom of the bushmaster snake), Opium, and Thyroidinum (thyroid hormone). Homeopaths also use treatments called nosodes (from the Greek nosos, disease) made from diseased or pathological products such as fecal, urinary, and respiratory discharges, blood, and tissue.[48] Homeopathic remedies prepared from healthy specimens are called sarcodes.

Though a better source for homeopathic remedies probably exists on a place other than wiki. I'm just too damn lazy to find it.
Anyway, this is what I said:

So, what you said about isn't wrong...but the part where you disagree with me is definitely wrong. 🙂 (Unless, of course, you were only referring to the "snake oil" portion. In which case, I would agree. However, my "snake oil" comment was a reference to homeopathy being a reference to quackery, not to snake oil being actual an homeopathic remedy.)
