It's a rumor that Loeb keeps dodging and if it is cancelled and an in-line toon starts right back up so it can run alongside Ult. Spidey, the fact that there isn't gonna be any story arcs seems pretty stupid. Stand alone single episode stories won't fit with what the show has already established. That's beside the fact that restarting a show, with the same show in itself sounds incredibly dumb.

Well, Justice League went through some similar rumours, with it seeming to wrap after two seasons. Then they relaunched it as Justice League Unlimited, with the roster swelling from seven to several dozen heroes; and the story continuity was continued from the first two years. Just when that third season seemed to be the wrapping of the show, Bruce Timm described how they came to him and said 'can you do another season?' Politics and marketing from the head office can jerk creators around, turning the tap on & off.

Is it just me or have they pussified the Hulk this season?

Got stomped by Dr. Doom and Ronan. And it was made clear he wouldn't stand a chance against the Enchantress. Only Thor would.

Oh and he didn't do too well aganst Executioner either compared with last season.

I completely agree, it's really annoying. Their turning the Hulk into a lame, and wanking Ms. Marvel like she's above Thor or something. Ridiculous. Hulk would smash Ronan, Enchantress, Ms. Marvel, and Doom, without prep of course. My only complaint about this great show is they made Hulk a weeny this season, and Antman was able to know over Luke Cage with like a kick or something stupid.

yeah, that Ms. Marvel wanking in the latest episode was off-putting. They seemingly have her being on the same level as Hulk.

Agreed. I tried to put it down to a "kree vs kree is more effective" thing, but it was still somewhat excessive.

She seemed ABOVE Hulk!

I hope that's all it is. Sometimes when they introduce a Character they make them out to be a little more Uber than they usually will be.

Example - Black Panther and CA taking on all the Avangers when they first encounter them.

Still I am a bit worried about the number of times Hulk's been stomped on this season.

And in terms of quality this season so far is nothing next to Season 1.

They seem to be implying that Carol, at least to me, is already exhibiting cosmic powers akin to her Binary phase, especially when she starts absorbing energy. That's not too crazy considering what Binary is ultimately capable of. If they're going that route, she'd definitely be on par with Hulk if not above him.

Also, it's refreshing to see Hulk not steam roll everyone for a change, which he didn't even really do in the first season outside of Hulk focused episodes. Dr. Doom owning the combined forces of the Avengers and F4 while basically having one-sided prep in Latveria is practically par for the course. Ronan the Accuser, when he's not being a jobber, is also pretty formidable. And Hulk was still portrayed as stronger than Executioner; Skurge just looked better than he did last time. And considering how powerful Amora is - second only in power to the likes of Loki and Karnilla - Thor being the only one with the means to reliably combat her Asgardian magic one on one isn't an insane notion, either.

I doubt they've made a concentrated move or effort to nerf Hulk in any case, and on the off chance they did, considering they've not had a Hulk centered episode yet, I'm sure he'll get the spotlight shined back on him soon enough.

^ Thing is last season it seemed pretty clear that Hulk could take Amora one on one. (Outside of mind tampering)

She called for Executioner to defend her against him in one episode when Thor said something like "I will not harm you but I can't say the same for him!"

Also when she BFR'd him in the first place she required Abomination's aid to do so.

I know Thor's more powerful than Hulk (I'd be the first to say so) but they seem to be widening that gap this season (from first impressions).

As for Hulk focused episodes, I believe Rulk is coming!

Man, this season isn't living up to the first, even the GotG and Korvac felt as a short-lived breath of air. They didn't even mention Phyla is a kree? I understand the continuity is messed up because of Mar-vell, but still.

They better bring Kang back soon.

Amora also got pushed pretty significantly since she mind tampered with Hulk. A lot of people sleep on Enchantress, imo; she can be pretty tough when she has to be. There was also the fact that in the latest issue, she was out for revenge instead of trying to seduce Thor or working for Loki. I wouldn't say that amped her or anything, but it's something to think about.

In any case, I don't think they depowered Hulk; he's still referred to as the strongest hero there is. And they're also trying to introduce new characters and share the spotlight equally between the regular cast and guest stars. Hulk will get his moment and likely smash the hell out of whomever in his centric episode(s).

I really like it, tbh. The scope of the season is pretty large and open ended, likely the result of them going "cosmic".

Anybody else notice master chief's voice on starlord? BTW guys did you know there is a petition online to try and save this show?

No point petitioning. It's a damn good show which means Marvel will cancel it in favor of a kiddy version akin to Ultimate Spiderman.

Hopefully Ultimate Spidey will have piss-poor ratings and they'll rethink that switch.

Hulk got referred to in the first episode as an 'Extreme' threat to Doom, which was a threat class of his own. I don't think he's been depowered at all, I just think each of the main characters is getting less spot light at the moment as the path is being paved to introduce new Avengers, villains and side characters.

I don't think Iron Man, Black Panther, Wasp, Hawkeye or Thor have looked particularly good this season, but they don't really look like they've changed either. They're holding up the team and maintaining static and strong while we meet the new recruits.

Doubt it.

Loeb could really give a crap about what people think.

There have been some nice episodes, such as Welcomed to the Kree empire, but that was the highlight of the Season so far, EVEN with the Guardians featuring 🙁

Thor hasn't really been in this season yet. He's still in Asgard.

Think I just saw what you mean. She overpowered Hulk.

And if we go by Hawkeye's words she's supposed to be on par with Thor!
