I think Josh Fine and Christopher Yost, the developers, have indeed confirmed that EMH isn't getting a 3rd season. Theres a forum they go to that I think they;ve talked about it on.

Can you post this forum's link so we can all go over there and complain? I think that would be more productive than us all complaining at killermovies.

Ya I would really like the link as well

Geez the fight scenes in the later eps are terrible. Especially the Spiderman episode. Very Cut and Paste.

Well I appreciated this series while it lasted story-wise. One could argue the quality of animation and faithfulness to plots was equal on par with the Xmen: Animated Series in the 90's.

But that's a poor excuse for accepting a cartoon in this day and age.
Why can't they just learn from the DC animations!!!!!!!

Yep, the quality of the animation is weak for today's standards.

Animation isnt that bad

Here ya go.

Just to prove I'm not lying, here is a link to Josh Fine talking about the voice actors in the Michael Korvac episode. Don't expect to complain directly to him though. And if you can, please don't bother the guy, it sucks enough that his great show is being cancelled.

The Vision Episode was AWESOME! Probably my fav of the season.
Which didn't show much competition. If every ep was drawn and told like this the show would've been instant classic personally.

Yep, one of the best if not the best episode of the Season. I also liked the Act of Vengeance one, mostly because of Zemo.

Wow they put that funeral together quick

Spoiler:
Liked seeing Hulk stomp the Red Hulk and really enjoyed Thor's appearances this season, his return during the climax of the Skrull invasion was epic.
Apparently there's an episode called "The Deadliest Man Alive" in which Hulk goes ballistic for being betrayed by skrull Cap. Sent away and "betrayed" by friends only to return more enraged than ever. Reeks of World War Hulk.

Saw more episodes, still some good stuff, Vision remains the best addition of this Season, good to see Pym and finally: We need more Kang!

Thor kicked ass in this season. The negative zone episode was pretty dark for a kids show. I think a bunch of AIM agents got eaten...

Screw it. I'll boycot the crappy Ult SM and the new avengers show. Also will troll them with letters until they change their mind about cancelling the show.

Not that this is anything we didn't already know, but Marvel has finally officially confirmed it. Of course Marvel would want to scrap a series based on the various comics and arcs dealing with the Avengers in favor for "movie-friendly" tone and fan accessibility.

It's hard not to wish terrible things on Jeph Loeb.

So Avengers EMH getting cancelled, while Ultimate Spiderman is being renewed for another season. Yeah makes sense.

I think it's daft making it in line with the Movie Universe. We have the movies for that, and if they're going to keep it in continuity, it will just limit the scope of the show.

Damn you Loeb. And Damn all the kids who are watching Ultimate Spiderman!

Yeah, all six of them.

Really bad move, Marvel/Disney. Does every decision have to be based on marketing ploys? I don't see a new version being any more popular, and who cares about having different continuities? What's the problem?

I really enjoyed a lot of the Avengers episodes even if there were a few weak ones here and there.

To be fair, apparantly EMH hasn't been getting particularly good ratings. So it isn't just Loeb being an *******.

That's strange. I know a lot of adults who love the show. But maybe that's the problem, they need more kids tuning in.

So yeah Ultimate Spidey is the way forward. In which case I guess it's time I stopped watching cartoons.

This getting cancelled makes me think that Disney/Marvel is underestimating how hard it is to make the Avengers franchise work, it took ages for them to become a huge success like X-men in the comicbooks and the movie is more of an exception than a norm when it comes to their handling of the franchise. This animation was doing good, but I can see it easily dropping the ball if they don't start with the right foot.

And if they keep stopping and starting the way they are doing, people will just lose interest and it will never compete with the great and long running JL and JLU series.
