That's true guy222, Galactus never really use the UN on anybody he could if he wanted too, but anything that shows restraint. If Galactus is taking one Celestail his odds are great, but it's the 4 host plus Extiar I wouldn't be suprose if he bust it or use vast tech to take out the Celestails, who knows what will happened if they ever battled.

Well all I know is that the UN is the ultimate trump card that the Big G can call to his hand whenever he feels like it...and without PIS/CIS...there is no logical reason for him to not use it whenever he faces a given opponent in a forum fight.
Its his best attack for crying out loud and who cares if he very rares uses it in comics; this isnt a comic book..its a forum fight without PIS/CIS.
Now if you state from the get-go that he cant/doesnt use it, then thats fine...just be aware that you are holding Galactus back (so his opponent is not facing Galactus' full ability) by denying him his best attack! 😉
So if you want to argue that a "gimped" Galactus can lose to Exitar...then fine...I can agree with that.
But if Galactus wants to win at all costs, then he one-shots Exitar every single time...

I don't mind anyone saying Galactus wins, but to me its kinda silly making Galactus threads and he wins all the time with the UN. There's no fun or a debate if he gets to use a weapon like that

Hey...its not Galactus's fault that he is practically unbeatable without PIS/CIS! 😉
Seriously though, its not really fun if he can just press his "win button" whenever he gets into a fight...thats what CIS is for; to keep the story interesting...and as we all know, with CIS, he almost never pulls out the nullifier.
The thing is though, some people need to wake up to the fact that Galactus must job an alarmingly high rate (especially based on the amount of appearances he makes vs the other cosmics) to make comic book stories interesting...
Or else (as was stated earlier in this very thread) he is very nearly unbeatable and just about anyone he faces will either end up eatten or annihilated.
That would not make for interesting reading people...
My issue comes into play when people downplay what a non-jobbing, bloodlusted, Galactus is capable of...
And he is capable of fighting just as he would ideally fight in a forum fight...and against what he is capable of bringing to the table, no one besides a supreme being type can beat him...
But no...some people have these foolish, misguided, notions that Galactus doesnt really rank that high in the cosmic hierarchy...and that some characters can definitely beat him or that some can absolutely dominate him...
And sure...with PIS/CIS...some of these characters (like Exitar) can definitely beat him as Galactus wont fight as he is capable of fighting...
But do NOT mistake showings using PIS or CIS to guage what he is capable of...
As a bloodlusted Galactus is capable of one shotting virtually anyone you put infront of him...and that includes Exitar as well as the entire 4th Celestial host.
Marvel has jobbed out Galactus many times. In the new S.H.I.E.L.D sillyness once again. Celestials are next. Makes no sense at all when Galactus returns in FF #584

Exitar only appeared a few times. Its been said the editor at the time had a vendetta because the Thor writers embarassed Thor in issue #300. So Tom Delfalco had Sue 'kill' Exitar. Horrible
Only seen a fraction of wat the Celestials can do. Tiamut has made stars, sings a song that if completed turns back time nearly 14 billion years. He put the entire Earth to sleep. He's the Fulcrums' equal. That's another can of worms opened, but its how u intepret the story. Jack Kirby created the Celestials to b more powerful than Galactus and the Watchers. Replace them on the cosmic chain

Can't agree more. That FF story should just be forgotten, if not for being complete PIS then for being just a plain bad story that made little sense.
When will writers learn that having cosmics and abstracts job to their characters doesn't make those characters look awesome - it just ends up diminishing everything involved and ruins what were once some great concepts. Kirby made the Celestials awesome when they first appeared. They were still looking good in Thor 300. But unfortunately some later (and lesser) writers have started to just **** them up like they can't help themselves. Galactus too, for that matter.

I think I remember reading something along the lines that Kirby intended the Celestials to be beyond any other characters seen at that point, regardless of whether they were originally intended to be part of mainstream Marvel. And based on the many appearances of these characters and various narratives, I've always seen the more powerful Celestials as above a typical Galactus, and so Exitar FTW.
But with Galactus's hugely varying power levels and the increasing number of crap Celestials appearances it's hard to say there is a definitive answer.

Sentry did jack shit. That was spider-man talking about it off-panel, and there were no circumstances that were revealed about the fight.

That is how the IB's power works. He summons the opposites to negate. He tried to one shot kill Galactus and failed.
He "failed" because the Inbetweener himself is Galactus' opposite. Then he went on to stalemate him in Galactus' universe and on his way to pwning him outright before the Elders and his Heralds interfered.

Tyrant is a special exception. FP Tyrant is probably the most powerful non abstract being in all of Marvel.

Normally I'd agree. But when you have beings as varied and as powerful as upper tier Skyfathers, Full Cube Beings, and Galactus himself expressing fear when addressing the Celestials. You got to believe the writers are telling us something. As recently as the new Eternals issues, Galactus "knew fear" when Tiamut awoke. Despite being LIGHT YEARS from Earth at the time.

Who needs feats when most non abstracts are cowering in fear before them. Seriously, you don't fear creatures that are no threat to you or beneath you.
FP Tyrant battled Galactus and lost.
Galaxies were destroyed in the collateral damage.
And Galactus was stalemated by Sentry.
