If a less powerful frieza can one shot a planet without a core attack, why did a more powerful form of frieza not?

It wasn't? We see Frieza pointing his finger at his soldiers and a planet (which is Planet Vegeta) and then we see Bardock dying the same way he died in the special.

1- Same reason Deathstroke wrecks the Justice Society.
2- Because Frieza didn't want the planet to instantly blow up in his face.
3- When he came back to earth as mecha Frieza, he or his father said something along the lines of "This is a small planet, we can destroy it in one blast!".

Saiyans can survive in space for an unknown period of time. Kid Goku went to the moon in dragon ball part 1. Not completely sure when (I think it was in the crossover with Dr. Slump.), but I can guarantee you it happened.

'Nuh uh that not his average is a terrible argument'. He's been shown to have these abilities and he used them while in character so they're valid.

An average Silver surfer fight goes like this.:

Character A attacks Silver surfer. The silver surfer expresses disbelief at their temerity at attacking one such as he. 4/10 times he will mention that he can fly through stars unscathed. At this point the silver surfer tries to reason with them. Character A continues attacking. The silver surfer then starts glowing (He may even have glowing eyes). He then describes the power cosmic and one shots character A. He flies off, mournful that he must ever fly alone.

At some point during this fight he will shout nebula unfolding and think about one of his lost love interests.

2.) Why not? Certainly he could have taken that level of power. Saying WHY is speculation at best.

3.) They also said they were the fastest and unbeatable and that they'd easily beat mirai trunks.. They were full of shit.

In fact he wanted to change DBZ into a high school comedy about gohan.

So explain the space pods to me if they can seriously survives without them?

This I can agree with. Even if some member here posts a scan or two of Surfer creating black hole(s) in a fight, then that still isn't good enough here considering that CIS on by default. Surfer has had thousands of appearances since 1966 and one or two instances aren't going to help him imo.
