they were on physically equal footings. You do realize that both shang-chi and IF are superhumans physically correct? Of course you don't because you seem to have very little knolwedge about any of the characters beeing mentioned.
any differences physically between them would be marginal at best. except for strength which IF would be stronger then either of them.

According to you, physical advantages mean nothing; so, by your logic, i would assume that you think Juggernaut is the best fighter in Marvel, or Superman is the best fighter in DC?
Of course you can't prove it, it's just common knowledge that Wolverine, Cap and DD are able to fight beyond what their natural class would be because they all possess superhuman abilities... take away those abilities and logically, they would fail to accomplish the same feats.
