Gotta go with Rob on this one.

The "lighting" of the sewers was for audience purposes. We, the audience, would not be able to view the film were it entire scenes of pitch black accompanied by 1960's Batman sitcom fight sounds. Zoff, Bam, Whiff, SNUH, etc.

Whistler said it best: "Some of us can't see in the dark, you f*cking nipple head!"

Heh, context of the scene FTW!

Observe:
At 7:00, before the Blood pack goes their seperate ways, you can see light emitting from the grates above:

The vampires were not in pitch black darkness, just dark enough for a human to have trouble seeing. There was a small amount of light.

What a sad troll you're being.

btw, go watch the Hit-Girl warehouse scene ,you see the goons too when the camera isn't from HG's prespective, iirc.

Yeah, because of the muzzle flashes, and BD being on fire.

Again, RJ, this was meant for us, the audience, to display lighting to the screen so as not to show a pitch black screen.

See Whistler's quote.

See Whistler's quote.

OK, so tell me....How was Whistler able to see BEFORE he said that? At 7:00, when Blade and the others separate, he can see fine.

Explain that to me.

Finagle til the bitter end.

We can see light in the tunnel. Whistler was able to see just fine when entering the sewer.

The MVF Golden Rule:
What is seen on screen is canon in these forums.

Call it what you want, I'm simply going by the rules here. You, you're taking what we see onscreen and twisting it around to suit your argument.

There is light in the sewer, debate over.

Fail. Try a new angle, Blade can see in the dark.

So far these have failed:

-Hit-Girl turns off the lights, turns on her strobe-light and Blade walks into it and blinds himself/gets shot in the head

-Hit-Girl turns off the lights, "goes stealth" (lol), finds Blade first and uses a stun-grenade on him while he does nothing.

-Hit-Girl makes it to the D's office and barricades herself.

We see light for aesthetic purposes. Apparently, the protagonists do not. For obvious reasons.

Whistler does not. Hence, his quote: "Some of us can't see in the dark, you f*cking nipple head".

Nipple head.

did you even watched the movie kick ass? I mean hit girl just got her ass kicked by the main character! Blade can heal by drinking blood!

BLADE IS THE WINNER!

Nah, I'm just going with what we saw onscreen. We see light.

Whatever, I'm over it. Stun Grenade still ****s Blade up good though.
