This doesn't happen in MW3 bro. I've never been killed by a tank due to stupid allies in MW3 bro. Fight me uhuh
Though in all seriousness, Dice should have anticipated this and implemented some way to give non-verbal cues. Like, if I'm out of ammo, I should be able to get an ally in my targeting reticule and, if close enough, hit the back button, which would make the words "CowardlyBlakMan is requesting ammo/healing from you!" flash in the corner of their screen, or something to that affect.
Something to that affect pops up on the screen but when I hit back nothing happens. Maybe I'm doing it wrong.
DICE fixing Battlefield 3's incredibly unrealistic, annoying, ridiculous tactical flashlight
Turn off the lights in here, baby
One of the most absurdly frustrating parts of Battlefield 3's multiplayer is the tactical flashlight. The attachment can be added to many of the game's weapons, and produces a light so blindingly bright that it honestly has raised questions as to whether or not anyone at DICE has ever seen, or used a flashlight. One look in its general direction and the player is blinded as if he had been hit by a dozen flashbangs at once. At night, during the day, from two feet away or from 20, it didn't matter. The outcry has been tremendous, and thankfully, DICE is going to do something about it.

I totally solo'd a jeep as recon a couple days ago; was awesome. Was using the first bolt action you get and the driver decided to try to run me over. At like 10-15 meters I quickscoped his gunner and tossed a nade right into its path. The grende went off right under the jeep and killed te driver instantly, and the flaming jeep carcas cartwheeled right over my head and through the second story window of the building behind me. So ****ing awesome.
The incredible physics engine really adds a special flavor to the game.
It's interesting how playing different games can teach you different skillsets, and how you carry those skills with you to other games.
For example, it's undeniable that Battlefield 3 plays differently from CoD, but on the other hand those twitch reflexes I picked up from playing CoD have saved my life on several occasions in BF3, such as quickscoping that jeep gunner.
On the other hand, I was playing BlackOps with a buddy today and I noticed how much more situational awareness I had, and that I was moving through cover, which is something that I picked up from Battlefield.
So yah, thought that was cool in a way.
