What was that?
Gaku was standing behind the dissipating whirlwind as though nothing had happened. Ezra stood straight upright and looked at Gaku, something was definitely weird about this kid. He had wings, and was heavy enough to withstand Zero's whirlwind, a formidable strength.
But he's pretty quick as well...
Then Ezra noticed that Gaku was standing behind two holes in the ground. They appeared to be quite big, a lot larger than Gaku's hands right now. Ezra considered Gaku planting his own feet however they were circles, not oval shaped as it would have been if he had used his feet.
What is this guy?
Ezra noticed the sharp teeth as Gaku called out a taunt, it seemed that this guy had some part of him that wasn't human. The wings and teeth, it almost seemed as he had access to attributes that a normal human wouldn't have.
Perhaps he's one of the types of animals I haven't come across yet...
Ezra concluded that he had to find out how strong this guy... or thing was. Then he would be able to devise a tactic to deliver the final blow.
"It's ok, I've got something stronger than a breeze."
Ezra put his right hand on his left arm, and aimed his gauntlet, palm stretched, right at Gaku's chest. He himself hadn't done this in a fight before, and hoped that it didn't backfire.
"Think you're faster than light?" Ezra shouted, as he fired a thick beam. It wasn't as intense as the gauntlet's thin streak of light, but was designed instead to pack a punch, providing a strong knockback ability. Only half a meter in length, the beam shot out from Ezra's gauntlet and struck Gaku right on the chest.

Simon scooted off the wall. He was skeptical that the kids killed something that even Andrew had no idea how to destroy, but that sounded like science and that wasn't his forte. So he just chalked it up to it being just a miniscule amount of the Hive. Still, it alarmed him that it could so easily pass through the school's piping system. "Intentions?" Pryce asked. "No, nothing like that. I just get energy, heat, electricty, even...um, life; stuff like that." Pryce stopped, thinking about the question. "Maybe psychic energy?" Pryce shrugged. "But no, I just figured there wasn't enough material for anything big." Pryce shruuged again, smiling weakly and hoping not to disappoint Simon.
"Either way," Bennu cut in, "I hope that got it, but we should still be monitoring it and letting people know about this."

Liam looked around. *52nd... * he though, discarding the radio in favor of telepathy. *I'm coming to get you, Caleb. Sit tight. Everyone else, hop on Sam's floating thing, We'll catch you up. The night stalker thing will stay here too. Cover the group while its moving.* With that, Liam walked over to the edge of the building, judging the distance. He then took three steps back and launched himself into the night. he fell down dozens of stories before his feet hit the wall of the building he was aiming for. The armor protected Liam from the impact, but it still rattled his teeth. He ran down the rest of the building, jumping onto the broken streetlamp and then to the ground, landing next to Caleb. "time to go." he said normally, looking at the Hive, which was now almost close enough to use their terrible screams. "piggyback me and we'll be off."

Sure the base was metal and protected by two forms of magic but, that didn’t mean DJ still didn’t want to play it safe. “Your joking right? Now as for legs let me is if some food is still here. It could be your body weakening from expending as much energy as you did and now needs a source of energy.” He made his way over to a small cabinet if search for something with high levels of protein. “ Well buddy I think Jordan must have stocked this place last. You know what that means. Energy bar galore.” He made his way back toward Leon making sure to toss one of the bars at him. “ Hope your catch is as good as your mouth.”
In an attempt to show DJ up, Leon caught the energy bar in his mouth, an act which made him overbalance and fall over again. This time though, he was able to right himself by placing a shockwave between his hand and the ground, forcing him back into an upright position. "I'm not too fussed about being found." Leon replied through a mouth full of bar. "We can't say for sure how the Hive tracks its victims, but I'm willing to bet it is not with energy detection, like we had originally assumed. A small portion of the Hive is intelligent. This intelligence could have tracked down the ferals in Club Thunder in any number of ways. Not only that, but in the time I was unconscious, the Hive should have detected us, and therefor should have been ready to ambush us when we left the building. They were not. As for the noise - Again, they should have found us straight away, especially after my little fight with Liam - We weren't exactly quiet. My guess is that whatever is going on outside has the Hive in this area completely distracted. Even if that's not the case, there would only be a very small number of enemies heading this way, so small in fact that we could defeat them easily, even in my current state."
After a few minutes silence Leon began to stand up slowly. "This appears to be working. Amazing. How much kj are in these things?" he asked, looking at the packet, and nearly choking. "Well that explains it," he chuckled. "And here I was worrying that Liam had actually snapped my spine, only to have it fused back wrongly when Sam healed me. I should have known better." He leaned back against the bed and started doing leg stretches.

Those ferals in the club weren’t infected at all, which means they just acquired this ability. With that said let’s use Mrs. Mason for example. She can already hear loud sounds through metallic walls and such. What if there’s a feral infected that has just come into the area that could do that, but I suppose your right.”
While waiting for Leon to reply his mind began to rethink the mission of club Thunder. Why weren’t any infected? “Wait Leon.. This is just a theory but what if some people carry the infection?”
Quickly spring to his feet DJ walked over toward Leon. His now completely black eyes gazed at Leon’s legs which had been making progress. “Don’t be freaked out. Your right about the fact that they need us.” As he spoke a lager swirling circle with symbols appear under Leon. “It’s a revitalizing buff. Should speed things up.”

Gaku smelled something weird in the air not paying attention he was hit by a Beam sending him flying through a building but right before he hit the building his wings came out his back and wrapped his body cushioning the hit to the building. Gaku a slight imprint in the side of the building put away his wings and picking himself out of the slight crater making sure that Zero didn't come out of nowhere and attack him she seemed that fast. But right now he had to focus on Ezra and his beam the beam hurt Gakus chest but he had to shrug it off. Gaku got into a stance deciding to switch from his frontal tactic to his true style of fighting. After taking his stance Gaku rushed Erza this time his movement looked more controlled rather then all over the place like before but something felt weird it was getting colder but water dragoons don't get affected by temperature drops but he didn't feel the cold coming from outside his body but rather inside. Gaku didn't mind it continuing to rush Ezra not letting Anything stand in his way of getting close enough to do his attack.
Zero sailed threw the air feeling like an idiot, she was sent flying by her own attack. Flipping through the she hit a tree feet first and bouced off of it landing on the grass below, she sighed and ran back to the school. Zero was too fast for any of the G.O to notice her since they were in a light lock down. In a blink of an eye she was sitting crossed leg next to Andrew, (sorry if Andrew is not watching the fight anymore) she watched the fight it was becoming more then just a spur. Zero looked up at Andrew, she crossed her arms acting like she didn't just make a fool of herself. "So...how many buildings are you going to let them destroy before you stop them," she said sarcasticly.

Shit, I thought he'd able to take that.. Ezra thought as Gaku was sent flying into a building. Ezra winced as Gaku went through it, causing a gaping hole on the side.
Ezra looked back at Andrew and began to open his mouth to apologize however Zero landed right beside him. In the same instance Ezra noticed Gaku was charging at him. Torn between who to focus on and what action to take, Ezra turned back towards Gaku and stood upright with no defences at all. As Ezra stared right at Gaku, a hand came out of nowhere and grabbed Ezra's collar. Suddenly everything went black as Andrew teleported to pick up Gaku. Ezra opened his eyes again and a wave of nausea hit him. When Andrew let go of him, Ezra fell to his knees. He looked up at Zero who was sitting innocently behind Andrew.
It's not like she chose to stop Ezra joked to himself. He had to admit, she definitely seemed like a good person to be friends with. He smiled (in a friendly way) to Zero, the word "Sorry" managed to escape his lips before he turned away and consequently threw up a small bit. He was still coughing heavily, but manage to gasp out "Never... Have.. Teleported... before...Sorry..."
Gaku stopped in his tracks as he was grabbed by Mr.Brok His teeth turned back to normal and so did his skin but it wasn't noticeable. He then went back to his playful fun self but he couldn't shake what he smelt earlier it distracted him it made him wander what it was. Gaku smiled at Zero and walked away from everyone picking up his guitar and headed off towards his room. "Nice sparring see ya."
Walking casually around in the Spirit world was no easy task. Unless you were Benjamin Mason. Demons, who freely to roamed the land scape fled when they saw him coming. That was one of the benefits of being the Link. Just his appearance struck fear in them. However, that only did so to lesser demons. The bigger ones tended to puff up and attack. Needless to say that that was their final mistake when going up against Ben.
As Ben made his way around the Spirit world, he couldn't help but notice that the place was in upheaval. The first thing he noticed was the Sky Mountains burning. He couldn't understand how mountains that floated thousands of feet off the ground and were shrouded entirely by rain clouds could be set ablaze but he guessed it had something to do with the messages that he had recieved in the past few days.
Another thing that he took note of was the Jee'bi (Ghost) Forest. Being the home to various spirits who haven't moved on yet, it was supposed to have a neutral appearence. Nothing beautiful yet nothing ugly. It was supposed to reflect the essence of the spirit who was passing through at that very moment. So that meant it changed in appearence often. But once the spirit was through, it always returned to its neutral look.
However, what he saw was darkness. The trees were bare and dead; the grass was brown; the sky over it was a spooky purple with dark-gray rolling clouds and he sensed no presence there. Where could all of the spirits have gone? Something was considerably wrong.
He had no idea where he was supposed to be going and that was usually when stuff happened. So when he was staring into the Unktahee's River, he got a sense of dispair. As if everything had given up hope. That was when the water spirit, Unktahee' made himself known to Ben.
"You have not been here, Human. Thingsssss are different now. There issss a great power to the North that has sssseized control. He is a spirit that has merged with that of a demon and he isssss formitable. Even for you. Be careful Human and ssssave us all."
Well that sucks. Ben looked to the north and a cold, dark wind beckoned him. Let's go to work, he thought to himself.
