The slime in the area began to head to the teams location, Liam had alerted them to the groups and it would only be a matter of time before the goo monsters started to swarm. They needed to move quickly but if Sam didn't know where to go teleporting would be pointless. The only choice was to fly but she could not and as far as she knew no one else could too. Just then the teen had an idea, if she could create and control a barrier why wouldn't she be able to move it with people on top of it. Sam reached her hand out and created a flat black barrier that floated in the air with more then enough room for the team. "Well here goes something," she says stepping up on to the black panle. "Come on guys I think this will work." She waited for the others to get on and begun to move the panle into the sky, (assuming you guys get on of course) at first the controls were tricky but she soon got the hang of it. "Caleb, it maybe to dangous to be on the ground by yourself where are you?"she asked using the telepathy link that Janet granted them.
*Um...? I'm on 52nd and 23rd (no idea what streets are named in NY),* Caleb said. *And I think your right about the danger.* He looked around the building he was behind and saw a more larger group of Hive-groupies. There was about 12 infected and just as many goo-monsters. He couldn't take all of them.
*If you guys have a way to come back me up down here, I'd greatly appreciate it. There's far too many for me by myself. And what building are you guys on anyways?*

Bennu and Pryce followed, looking around at everything. Even if the room itself was boring, the feeling that they were somewhere they weren't normally supposed to be kept Bennu excited and set Pryce's nerves on edge. It was just like Club Thunder, Pryce thought, except less dangerous. So not really like Club Thunder at all, all things considered. When he came to a particularly tank like object, one that looked like it would hold water, Pryce wordlessly approached it. He lifted one hand and placed it on the tank, letting his power go little by little. As he did, he found a problem."The water's going to freeze," Pryce said solemnly. "It might bust the pipes. I can't absorb just one thing; it's all or nothing."
"On it, Bennu responded, placing her hand right beside Pryce's. An intense burst of light shone, forming what appeared to be a ball of fire on her hand. Pryce' hand spread darkness wherever it touched, dimming the ball slightly. As long as the two were in the same place, Pryce knew, the water would neither freeze nor boil, and Pryce could drain whatever else was there.
"Okay," Pryce said after a few minutes, "that's it. There's something there..." Pryce trailed off, closing his eyes. He felt the growing force again, of something alive, but it was tiny, barely there. "I feel it, the Hive," Pryce said, "and we're definitely killing it." After several more minutes, Pryce relented, and Bennu did the same. "I don't feel any more, we may have gotten it all. But it's weird...I don't think this was intentional. There's not enough here. I think it was just moving through pipes that would lead to the school, but it's not here yet. Still, just to be safe..." Pryce shrugged.
Simon scooted off the wall. He was skeptical that the kids killed something that even Andrew had no idea how to destroy, but that sounded like science and that wasn't his forte. So he just chalked it up to it being just a miniscule amount of the Hive. Still, it alarmed him that it could so easily pass through the school's piping system. That meant it could do that to every other home.
"So Pryce? When you absorb something, you can get a sense of its intentions?"

Greg was in the school library. It was almost curfew, so he was packing up his books. He had a boring day today and was ready to call it a night.
After leaving the library, he noticed that people were wearing jackets and sweaters. He hadn't noticed that it was getting cold. Mainly because his powers to control the weather always kept him a perfect temperature. He neither got hot or cold. And he didn't have to try to do a thing. It was automatic. That was neat, he thought to himself.
After that nightmare incident, when he caused a tornado that ripped off the outer wall of his dorm building, he made a mental promise that he would get a hold on his emotions as soon as possible. Unfortunatly, there were no classes that taught him how to do that. He had to rely on his own self-control.
That was gonna be a problem. Back home in Australia, storm clouds gathered when he felt down. Lightning tended to flash when he was angry. It rained when he was sad. But the difference was that he was out in the wild back home and he didn't have to worry so much about someone getting hurt due to his emotions flaring. Here, in America, he was in close quarters with countless other emotionally charged teens and equally charged adults who were out of their element. Not good for someone who always had to stay calm until he could control his newly acquired powers.
He made his way back to his temporary room. Until the new wall was finished, everyone that lived in his dorm were assigned new rooms. He had no idea what happened to his roommate Ricardo, but he couldn't help enjoy having his own room. Back home, he had to share a room with his younger brother. He loved the thirteen year old kid but it was Australia. It was hot and for two guys who were going through puberty at the same time, that was a nightmare in itself. A few good windows were destoryed by sudden gusts of winds or stray bolt of lightning.
He shook it off and promised to himself to get better control of his emotions and made his way to his room for the night.
