"Ok," Pryce said, nodding. He was getting a bit more comfortable now that he had something to do, and was reasonably sure he wasn't in trouble. But, he reminded himself grimly, other people are trouble, and we need to stop it. Going over what he knew about the...Hive, Pryce realized that New York in particular was in serious trouble. Strike Force was already there, however, and Pryce figured they could take care of it. There real problem was if the Hive moved somewhere else, since it seemed to be targeting Supers."The more people know about this," Pryce started thinking aloud, "the safer we'll be. Can you make the announcement to tell people what the Hive is?"
Simon nodded. "I'll make a note of it and send to every room and have it posted all over the school. Everyone should know about it by tomorrow evening."

"I think communication is going to be the key here," Bennu cut in. "Someone sees this, they report to a teacher or something, we take care of it." Bennu straightened up and nodded, mostly to herself, before turning to leave. "But for right now, I think me and Pryce can check the water, if we're allowed in."
"You don't have that level of access so I'll have to go with you to the reservation station. But how do you plan on checking the water for Hive residue?"

As Sam took some of the team to the rooftop, Caleb turned invisible and quietly slipped threw the door. He was anxious to get to Naomi but he didn't want to alert any Hive-infected to DJ and Leon.
Sure, they probably knew they were in the cabin already, but just to be safe, Caleb wasn't going to take any chances. His training with his nighttime powers made him very adept in stealth. He moved behind and between the buildings, making sure not to make a sound. He already couldn't be seen. He hoped.
Just as he was about to cross another alley, he heard the not so subtle footsteps of the teams would-be ambushers. He pressed up against the wall as much as he could, but it felt like his heart would beat out of his chest. Yeah he was trained for stuff like this, but it didn't mean he didn't get scared and nervous while on missions. The fear was good. He always said to himself and Uriah that the more he was scared, the more dangerous he was because he was super alert.
He counted six infected and three goo-monsters leading the pack. They walked right past the alley and Caleb was relived that they actually couldn't see him. His nerves clamed as well but he remained alert. Waiting until the last infected walked past, Caleb stalked up behind him, placed his hand over it's mouth, grabbed and pulled it's arm behind it's back and pulled him into the alley before he knocked it out with a sleeper hold. He wasn't sure weather or not they should kill the infected humans. The team didn't go over that.
He really didn't want to kill any human, infected or not, because he was hoping that there was a way to save him. Besides, he was pretty sure that the school didn't condone killing people. At least that's what he thought.
He quietly took out another two before one of the remaining turned and saw the fourth being dragged off by an invisible force. Caleb slammed his hostage up against the wall, knocking him out, and made an invisible staff. He had invisibility on his side and made short work of the last two infected.
When the goo-monsters arrived he had to use his head. He swung his staff and in went sticklily through one of them and actually got stuck in another. The third seemed to take notice of that fact and slithered towards where it looked like the staff originated from. Caleb realized this and made the staff disappear. He then made a giant hammer and slammed it on one of the creatures, who were now just as confused as before.
While the hammer did smash the goo-monster, it reconstituted itself and went back on the defensive. Caleb was making sure not to make a sound so they would hear where he was but he couldn't get rid of them. When they went up against these things before, he'd burned them with his solar powers. It was night and he didn't have fire power so he couldn't fry them. But he could trap them.
He made himself visible and the creatures all came towards him. He smiled cause it worked out just like he planned. As all three goo-monsters were just about to converge on him, he made a medium-sized box and they all splashed into it. He quickly made a covering and saw that they had no way out. He began to shrink the inviso-box and they out what he guess were shreiks for help. He couldn't really tell because the box was slightly sound-proofed. Bonus, he thought to himself as he smiled.
While still shrinking the box, he realized that the goo-monsters weren't just going to disappear. So he just left them there, turned invisible and went on his way.
Trying the mind-link Janet gave them, *Caleb to team. I just had a run in with a Hive group. They didn't put up much of a fight but make sure you guys don't let them scream. I think that may be a way for them to alert others.*
