As they landed and Blayze and Tech were moving out their various equipment with the help of Andrew and Bonnie, Simon the asked, "And are they dealt with? Or are you just repressing them? Cause you know what they say about men who repress too much......" He began walking off the jet with an animated look on his face.
Sam shallowed hard and accepted everything her allies told her. She followed them out of the crater with a defeated look on her face, she will go with them and heal the wounded.
Daniel had been in the city for quite a while, he had even been able to seal off a few blocks before the slim were able take over. Everyone with in the area was safe so he decided to take a look around when all of a sudden all the goo monsters that gathered out side the seal had turned into puddles. "interesting...I guess," he said before enchanting his staff and taking to the skies.
Janet stepped off the jet without a so much as a word. She found it frustrating how Lance was acting all fatherly now with Rock when he acted like their own son was little more than a annoyance . * Now it’s the time. I need to find Leon and Liam* placing her finger tips on her temple Janet mind raced the streets of New York. She was picking up on let over residue from both her students minds. *Sam can you hear me? I need to know the last known where about of Leon and Liam.*
“About time you folks got out here. Wait where is Mr. and Mrs. Mason? Jordan and Tori also? Well I guess that could wait. We’ve had a few updates within the last few minutes. It appears the host of the Hive are now slowly dieing. Caleb& Medusa took Wraith and Ashlocke to set up a giant healing center. Sam, Naomi, Uriah, and Star are gathering people to take to this healing center . Everyone else is with Ghost and Pintar. The situation is being more dangerous as time goes on. I personally believe before this is over you guys are going to need Sam, Hit and myself healing a lot of people which reminds me. Please tell me you guys brought some of those energy bars. Hit is going crazy on them healing people and at the rate I lat checked he’ll be out of bars and drained of energy in about 20 mins.” DJ stated as he rubbed his head.
After a brief communique with Ghost, Uriah informed the other where to bring the newly non-infected. He also told them that their bodies were beginning to shut down after a while and that help would be with them shortly, via a mirror transport by Pintar once they found someone.
He decided to keep the fact that they were assuming Liam and Leon were dead because he didn't want to say it over the com-links. They deserved better than that. When everyone was together, he'd break the news then.
As they made their way through the city, they were surprised to see that there wasn't a lot of people around. Figuring this part of the city was evacuated before things went down hill, they were getting ready to move on when Naomi saw someone flying through the sky. After Star filled her in on what happened after she left with Liam and Leon, Naomi knew that it wasn't an infected.
"HEY! DOWN HERE," she called out, causing the others to look up.

"Hola, Janet," Energía said as he walked outside to meet everyone. "It's been a while and I wish we were meeting under better circumstances. But you and your team needs to be briefed before anything can be done."
“Hello Energa dear. I wish the same but a little too late to wish on a star right? This city looks like hell. So besides what DJ had to offer what exactly is going on at this moment?” Janet asked still focused on trying to find Leon and Liam.
“Rock!!! Is that you?” DJ screamed out as he ran over to her and wrapped his arms around her. “It’s so good to see you.” DJ looked over at Lance then at Janet. “Umm Hi Lance.” * What in the hell are they trying to do? They know these two can’t stand each other.*
Sam heard Janet through her telepathic link, she felt a small glimmer of hope when she heard they were in the city. *Look to sky* Sam pointed her hand to then sky and fired a large shadow ribbon that marked their location.
Daniel saw someone from the ground waving him down, when he finally focused he noticed the three other people with the girl waving. He started his decend to the ground when suddenly one of the females launched an energy ribbon into the sky. "whoa, what was that for?" Daniel said with a british accent then landed. "Anyways, how can I help?"

Rock forms her metal into her jewelry again, staying close by Lance refusing to leave his side. Getting off when Lance does. Heck you can still see my dried up green blood on my pants.” DJ turned around to see a Janet floating in the air looking up at what seemed to be a dark pillar. “So Rock if your powers were nullified wouldn’t that mean they are abit more powerful for the time being?”
*That you Sam. I’ll be there as soon as possible. The others will just have to understand why I must go.*
“I’m sorry but I can’t wait to be briefed on everything that has happened. My help is needed now. Andrew and Simon you have a psychic link with me. Tell me what is said.” *I have to go find Leon and Liam. * Without much thought Janet flew toward Sam and the others.
"If you all could follow me." He lead the group into the safe house-turned-base. Against one wall were various computers and one swivel chair and one fold out chair. And Andrew could see the makings of Blayze and Tech's makeshift lab in the far back.
As Simon, Andrew, Rock, Blayze, Lance, Tech, DJ and Bonnie made themselves as comfortable as could be, Energía began. "I'll make this as quick as I can," he began. His Spanish accent was thick but he spoke fluent English. "Ghost, Caleb and Uriah have to give updates, too. I'm sure you all know about the Hive. If you don't, someone'll fill you in. According to me and DJ's scans, the Hive is dead. Or gone. Whatever you want to call it.
"All of the infected have be purged of the creature and are unconscious wherever the Hive had them. We've come to find out that their bodies have began to shut down. We don't know why because we didn't have the equipment until now. Once everyone is on their way, DJ, Blayze, Tech, Andrew and myself will begin to assess the situation regarding that.
"You guys will be out looking and recovering anyone you see that's out. We have Uriah, Star, Caleb and Naomi at the scene of an explosion that we believe was the cause of the interference over the com-links and computers. Uriah has informed us that they have Intel on who or what the Hive is or was. When he checks in, he'll share.
"Medusa is with Caleb, Hitosu and Ashlocke in the makeshift trauma center. Wraith was with them, but he is now back in his dimension after he transported four of his minions here to help. Hitosu is currently healing as many as he can, but the task is proving to be exhaustive to him and his powers and he is quickly running through the energy bars that were here. I'm not sure how much longer he can last. That is why we have to figure out why the hell are people dying.
"Ghost has Tracy, Nova Gamma, Chain, Frankenstein and Pintar covering the most ground thanks in part to Ghost's teleporting, Tracy and Chain's swiftness, Frankenstein's monsters and Pintar's mirror transportation. He is also creating portals for the other teams as well.
"There are also various other supers and heroes helping out around the city, so keep that in mind. And I can tell you that we will have some military assistance. They should be on their way as we speak. I know you guys haven't seen eye to eye with them in the past, but their not out to get you. Remember that, and we can all get this city......okay."

Rock goes silent staying close by Lance, she wouldnt dare take on Janet, not even in her stupidest moment would she try that. She looks at DJ then back to wait on her answer. to her question of killing Pintar for what he put her through. As For DJ she glances to him then back to the briefing "sorry" she says to DJ, knowing he will hear her fine.
Zero laid on her bed trying to sleep but she just had so much energy still, she didn't need to sleep much and it was a waste of time tio just lay there all day. The feral got out of bed and put on fresh clothes and left her room. Zero had no intentions on going to class today but there were plenty of other things she could do, like go to the danger room or go to the gym and play with the japanese wooden swords to keep from getting to rusty.
Yukari just arrived being dropped off by a taxi and then annoyed by the G.Os that greeted her at the entrance, the day was getting worse as it went on. Yukari cheched in with the office and got her classes and her dorm, she haded beed in a "school" since her mother died two years ago but rather home schooled so she couldn't cause and trouble. The teen ignored the passing students and continued to her assigned room, she was told she had a room mate by the name for Zero. She thought for a second, what kind of freak or bad ass had a number for a name? She came to the number that was on the paper, she was about to open the door when she heard some one opening it from the other side.
Zero was caught by suprise to see some strange girl standing in front of her door, she was taller then her but Zero was the shortest girls in her class, she also had very nice hair but what really stuck out to Zero was the look in her eyes. She had the same look in her eyes when she came to the school the eyes of a killer, she doubt that the girl actual ever killed anyone but the look was still there it was enough to send the fur on her ears and tail on end but she managed to keep an uncaring look on her face. "Who are you and what do yo want?" she said bluntly and crossed her arms adding more additude.
So a bad ass huh? She thought and met Zero's additude with her own. "You must be Zero, my name is Yukari Eiko. Starting today I'm your room mate."

Energía cleared his throat. "We have and incoming transmission from Uriah that you guys need to hear. So, if you could cut the threats and pay attention. And no, you may not kill, Pintar. He's one of only a handful of distance porters. Go ahead, Uriah."
"Naomi said that she, Liam and Leon made their way to the Hive's base of operations and that the Hive was actually a guy named Bill Thresher. He quickly separated Naomi from Liam and Leon and she was told to get back to the base. Shortly after that, the explosion happened. We, uh, haven't been able to find any sign of Leon or Liam," he said, his voice dropping.
"What? You think they were still in the building when it exploded," Simon asked, his face, crestfallen.
"Naomi said she didn't see any other way in or out when they got on there. They were deep enough under ground that a giant steal door fell from out of the ceiling. We were digging even before I told Janet about it mentally. We just left the site 10 minutes ago because Star made a valid point about helping the injured."
The people at the base were shell shocked. Did this mean Liam and Leon were dead? Andrew then spoke up. "Janet's over there already. If she finds something, I'm sure she'll let you guys know. Either way, she's gonna be joint your team when she's done looking for them."
"Copy that. And we just got someone else to help out. A guy by the name Daniel Springfield. He knew we were from the school because of our youth and said was student there when you guys were, Andrew."
"The name sounds familiar enough. I guess we'll meet him when he gets to the base of ops."
"As soon as we start finding people, we'll let Pintar know so he can create a portal for us to the trauma center."
"You haven't found anyone yet," Simon asked.
"No. We think this area may have been evacuated before things got too bad. Daniel did say that he sealed off a couple of blocks, though. So we're gonna head over there. Sam'll send up a ribbon for you guys to know where we're at if anyone comes to help."
"Alright, Uriah. Don't forget to check in every now and again," Energía said.
"Right," Uriah said before ending his transmission.
"We're not gonna assume that Leon and Liam are dead, are we," Simon asked as soon as the transmission was over.
"Not yet," Andrew responded. "We have far too many resources at our disposal. Lance, after the other transmissions, we need you to do a locator spell. While Janet is searching psychically, I need you to search magically. And I'm pretty sure that with all the technology that we have here, we can dig up more than just knowing it was an explosion."
Energía nodded his head in agreenent. "We'll find them. But we have an incoming transmission from Caleb now."
While he did hear about Liam and Leon, Caleb was determined to keep it together because of the gravity of the situation. He began, "We're gonna need to spread out pretty soon and you guys have to get us some results quick because I don't think that Hit's gonna last too much longer.
"For starters, Wraith's four goons are bringing people faster than Hit can heal. Six more people died and Hit said that its taking more energy to heal. Now he's using an energy bar after every person he heals. We're down to our last box and me, Medusa and Ashlocke are getting tired, too."
"I'm already on it, Caleb," DJ said. "I figure since this is an emergency, that you could finds some energy drinks around the area. I was gonna have Pintar do a sweep of the local area and gather as much sodas, candy, waters, energy drinks and carbs as he could and disburse them throughout the three groups. It's not our specially made energy bars, but we have to work with something."
"We'll take what we can get. Another thing is some of the people that were healed are starting to wake up and panic. Medusa tried to explain the situation, but when they saw Ashlocke, they freaked. He had mentally sedate them and we have them separated."
"As long as no one is hurt," Andrew stated, "do what you must to avoid mass chaos."
"And the last thing is the fact that people are gonna start showing up soon. More specifically, the media. I already saw a few news choppers. If they decide to land, what are we supposed to do?"
"Medusa can take care of them," Energía said. "We have training in dealing with the media. Why do you think a lot of people never heard of us?"
"Alright. That's about it. There's only like 48 more energy bars left so we need you to get on the line with Pintar, DJ. Caleb out."
"And this is where I come in," Ghost announced. "We've work with you adult heroes before so we're all familiar and can pretty much expect what I'm gonna say. For the rookies, pay close attention:
"The Ghost Squadron is a military-trained team and we answer to them. They always know what we're doing and where we are. I know you've had bad experiences with them in the past but they are on their way to help.
"When you encounter them, there is a chain of command. There is the general who will only speak with me and whose ever in charge from the school. The lieutenant who'll be running the command center once they set it up. And their will be a GO present.
"I've already been debriefed so they are bringing more supplies. There will be a tech center that will be combined with the one you have set up already but they will be utilizing your lab, Tech and Blayze."
"So long as they don't try to stop us from working, will cooperate," Tech said.
"And what are the names of the general, lieutenant and GO," Andrew questioned.
"General John Slightly. Lieutenant Marrienne Hawthorne. And the GO is Julian Jacobs."
Again, everyone, except Energía, was astonished. "Julian will be here," Simon asked. "That's why I couldn't find him at he school. He was gone."
"I didn't know you guys knew him. He's been our advisor for quite some time now," Ghost replied. "He requested to be placed on this mission as soon as he got word of it."
"Well he's the GO liaison for our school," Andrew informed him. "He's been a pretty reliable guy to us and the school. He's just secretive."
"That he is. But I don't have anything to report short of what Caleb just told you. A few more supers are helping out. Two of which are telepaths, so that's been a big help with crowd control. I gave a few others the locations of the other two teams that could help with keeping the piece. An empath is going to find Uriah and a hypnotist is gonna make his way to Medusa. Until then, so what you can." And that was the end of Ghost's transmission.
"Well, there you have it guys," Energía said raising out of his chair. "DJ, Andrew, Blayze and Tech can follow me to the lab so that we can get started on our research of why these people are dying; Lance, you can perform your spell to find Liam and Leon. When your done you can meet up with a group; Janet is already gonna meet up with Uriah and his crew, so that means that Simon, Bonnie and Rock are to go meet up with a group. Simon, because of you teleporting powers, I'm gonna ask that you help Pintar gather the provisions, as well.
"We all have our missions. You all have thelocations of each of the groups, so get to which ever one you feel you'll be the most helpful with. Lets get this thing done," Energía said as he walked towards the makeshift lab.
lance stood up calmly when he got his mission and headed to the ruins of of the building to go search for them flying above the site and summoned a book so he could page threw to find the right spell when he got the right spell the book vanished "invenio vita vis vires" he stated softly and a a orb bright green light formed in his hands and he dropped it toward the building and it began releasing pulses of energy threw the ruins if they were alive it would eventually show a aura around them
Blayze walking with tech and the others to start the research didnt really know where to start so had to let them take lead on this

Zero raised her brow, it was just as she thought, she was like her, hopefully she is on the road to redemption like I am and not a road to havoc like I was, she thought. "Great," Zero replied sarcastically. "Hopefully your not a crazy nut job like my last one. Anyways hurry up and put your things in and I'll give you a tour of the school, It's pretty big so I'll just so you where your classes are and a few other places you'll need to know."
Yukari smiled, "Looks like my days getting better already, one sec, I'll be right back." Yukari passed Zero and went into the room and found her side then dropped her bags off. "Okay I'm ready when you are." she said just now noticing Zero's waving tail, "Awesome tail, can you grab stuff with it?"
Zero sighed and face palmed, "Come on before I change my mind," she said very annoyed.

Daniel looked over the crater and saw Janet doing her thing and suddenly he remembered the giant crush he used to have on her, then a moment later he felt someone casting a spell up above. He looked up to see non other then Lance, the guy seemed to be a shut in or a jerk he could never tell but he was a fellow spellcaster so he couldn't be all that bad.
Daniel looked and saw Naomi walking off to play hide and seek with people that might be dead or unconscious, it seemed like a one sided game so he thought he could help, "Hey, Hey young lady?" The spellcaster said feeling very old now. "Wait I have a spell that might be of use but we'll have to get a little more away from Lance, don't want to cross magic with him, we might make another hole in the ground."
A little walk farther Daniel stopped and flicked out his hand and a spell book appeared, he released it and it floated in front of him, "Reperio vulnero," he said and the books pages flipped to the spell he needed. "Ah there it is," he said then a magic circle lit the ground around him. "versus of fortuna ostendo sum vestri," suddenly red and black ribbons appeared actually ten red and five black.
"You see those, threads? They are lines of fate, the red belong to people that are close to death and the black are well...dead." Daniel said trying hard not to make this awkward. The spell user reached out and grabbed the lines, "addo mihi" the book reacted and flipped to the page he needed again. " Peragro a diversus agri," he said firmly and tugged on the lines and suddenly the bodies appeared in front of them, the spell made them travel through the walls of the city and very quickly at that.
"Should we have that Pintar guy come and pick these guys so your healer can start reviving them?" Daniel asked.
Sam walked passed the magic user already starting to glow with her powers of light, "No I'll start healing them. The black are already dead right? Can you please move them away from the ones that are still alive?"
"Sure," Daniel said a little surprised at the healers lack of emotion but he started to move the dead away from the living and gave Sam space to work her power. "Hopefully you can save them all," he said.
Sam didn't say anything she was now focus on healing these people, she had to put a lot of energy in one heal just to get the first to come to. She had to admit she was relieved to see the man open his eyes but then surprised when he started trashing around and yelling, "OH MY GOD IM DEAD IM SO DEAD! I DONT WANT TO DIE!!!" Sam didn't have time to calm the man down there were still nine more people that were dying, "Naomi can you restrain him?"
It was obvious that Sam wasn't going to be able to heal all these people and still have energy to heal any that they came across later. She took a deep breath and the marks on her body appeared and begun to glow then wings of light spouted from her back, with her power out like this she could access it faster and use less energy well healing. Sam bent down and picked up a stone then started scratching in to the concrete symbols for water and earth, the symbols of her mother's people. "There is cleansing power in water and Rejuvenating power in earth," she explained hoping no one would say they also make mud.
"Don't they make mud when they are put together?" Daniel asked jokingly, he was rather impressed with her ability and control. Daniel heard a large sigh coming from the healer, "oops sorry. Please continue," he said with a big smile and rubbing the back of his head.
Lush green grass begun to spout out of the street and surround her and the unconscious people, the grass was glowing and giving off an energy of its own that seem to slowly renew lost energy, Sam then continued to work on healing the others and now they were regaining consciousnesses much faster and it used a lot less of Sam's energy to heal.
