As they all crammed into the limited space of the hastily set lab, Energía proclaimed. "We need to research what exactly it is that's causing the people who were infected to die. From what I know, Andrew, you had a sample of the Hive before it was terminated. What were your findings?"
"It's pretty basic," Andrew answered. "In the sample's rather complex DNA structure, its cells are designed to track people with super human abilities, infect them by means of fusing with the host and then slowly shutting down the host body's internal organs."
"And in your research, have you been able to find a way to counteract it?"
"No. The little that I have found out is all I know."
"On the other hand," Tech jumped in, "I and Blayze found out a few things using what Andrew found. The Hive's cellular structure was so unstable, that was what allowed it to shift its form and fuse with other organic beings." A holographic image of a Hive glob and a human male flashed out of the table they around. "We also found that each cell possessed something similar to a brain.
"And just like a brain, it had brain waves. Actually, just one. The strange thing, however, is the fact that it ripples. It does nothing a human brain does. But I'll spare everyone the details. We discovered that the cell's brain can't take high levels of vibration or heat. And since I'm pretty sure that we don't want to fry a civilian, that leaves vibration as our only option. It seems like cell's brain gets overloaded and it has something similar to a seizure."
"So all we have to do is build something that emits high levels of vibration," DJ said excitedly.
"That would be the case," Blayze quipped. "But that doesn't explain why these people are dying. Didn't you two say that the Hive itself was dead," he asked, looking at DJ and Energía.
"Si," Energía nodded.
"And the tests that me and Tech did were on a living sample."
"What's your point, esè?"
"My point is shouldn't we find out why the supposedly dead Hive is still killing its hosts?"
"To be honest, Blayze," Andrew inserted, "we should be more concerned with healing those people. I don't think we want a bunch of dead bodies on our hands. Especially not with the media coming."
"I know that. What do you guys suggest?"
"First we need to test our theroy," Tech chimed.
"But we didn't build anything yet," DJ said with a puzzled look.
"Oh, kid. You maybe a prodigy but you still have a lot to learn." Tech pulled out a crude looking gun with a smile playing at the corner of his mouth. "This is a sonic vibration emitter. It shoots a concentrated beam of super fast vibrations......I can show you better than I can tell you. Watch."
Aiming the S.V.E. at the wall across from him, Tech pull the trigger and almost instantly, the wood crumbled apart to reveal a mediun-sized hole. Sound was almost unheard, resembling that of buzzing bee.
"So were going to shoot a hole into all of those people," DJ asked.
"Well, I hope that we're gonna tweak the weapon so that don't happen to those people," Energía said.
"Of course were gonna tweak it," Blayze said. "We're not trying to kill anyone. But that's a good visual description of what will happen when we use the S.V.E on someone. The remaining Hive in the host body will flip out and the host body will be able to reject the infection, regurgitating the Hive."
"So were gonna fix everyone by making them blow chunks," DJ summed up.
"Basically," Tech ceded.
"So let's get started," Blayze said.
"Sure thing," Naomi said. She picked the guy up and rushed him out of hearing distance. "You're not dead and your not gonna die. But you will be unconscious if you don't calm down." She said this with a wicked smile.
Star, on the other hand, was prepared to make this as easy as possible. She simply vaporized the lifeless bodies. When she looked at Uriah and saw his eyes bug, she stated matter-of-factly, "They were already dead and taking up space. What do you think the higher ups are gonna do with all the bodies that go unclaimed? I'm just helping to alleviate the situation."
Uriah only shook his head in disapproval and walked away. Daniel wasn't going to be able to find everyone with magic. He'd run low on energy at some point and Uriah wanted some alone time to grieve for Leon and Liam even though he didn't know if they were dead or not and even though they still had work to do. "I'm gonna go check over here," he mumbled as he waked away.
"Well, vaporizing bodies would make room but don't you think it would be better to wait until they are identified so families can know they are actually dead set up their own way of disposing of the corpses like a funeral or something to remember their loved ones." Daniel said shrugging his shoulders.
"The place I sealed isn't far from here," Daniel said with a sigh. "If I got here sooner I could have sealed off more of the city and prevented so many more deaths." Daniel walked further away from the healer to pull more people to them, he cast the same spell and pulled five more people all still alive two being children.
Daniel floated them back so Sam could heal them, they looked worse off then the group before but at least there was no dead among them. The spellcaster gently laid them on the magic grass and backed up. "I'll go see if I can find some more, are you getting tired?"
Sam just finished healing the last of the first ten, she took a deep breath when she seen there were more on the way, "I'm fine just keep them coming." Sam reached into her pocket and pulled out a communicator and pressed a button on the side that would give out her location, then threw it to Daniel, "Tell base that we set up a healing station here and we could use some transportation for these the people that we've saved."
Daniel caught the communicator and pressed the talk button, "H-hello? uh...The healer, here said that she set up a healing station and could use transport for the people shes healed. There are currently ten people up and five wait four dead bodies here and five that are still unconscious. That is all Daniel out." He said very nervously.
Sam couldn't help laughing at the man, he seemed so cool but he was really a dork, "wow that was...that was something," she said while starting to heal the children. She was feeling a little better now after that, it was depressing seeing so many injured and dead especially children that were caught up in this mess.

Zero showed Yukari all of her classes along with the bathrooms and cafeteria, they stopped for breakfast, Zero pigged out eating three plates and Yukari sat in amazement watching her. After they ate they headed to the danger room, "Wow, where do you put all that food? your so tiny..." Yukari finally asked.
"I'm a feral with super speed, I burn through calories very fast...and I'm not that small." Zero answered some what annoyed. "Anyways here's the danger room, you can come in here and simulate a battle or whatever. I've seen people simulate the beach so there's also that, it that's your kinda thing." Zero said then thought of something fun.
"Hey, you want spar? It's great exercise, plus I want to see what you can do, roomy" Zero said sweetly. This was a chance to see Yukari's power and to see how much control she had using them. "So how bout it, you in? I'll go easy on you."
Yukari smirked, fighting was her thing, she had gotten in a lot of fights before her mother died and it had been a while since she had got in one since. "Sure, I'll do my best to keep up."
They both walked into the building that held the danger room, no one was using it so it was empty. "So how does this work?" Yukari asked. Zero shrugged her shoulders, "I really haven't used it before but I'm guessing this panel controls the settings," she said then started to play with the buttons. "It looks like a place selection." Yukari looked over Zero's shoulder to see the list of places to that they could simulate, "Lets do that one." she pointed to the screen, it was ruins of down town L.A, it was in between the Bahamas and Hawaii. "Interesting, place to put that and an interesting choice." Zero said raising a brow. Zero set the location and put it on sparring so there was no enemies that would attack and also set a timer.
Zero and Yukari stepped into the danger room and entered a very destroyed city of L.A, Yukari looked around feeling a bit more cheery then she expected and she wondered if this was a normal feeling, this was the city her mother was murdered in so it felt good to see the city in ruins. The door disappeared behind them and it kind of freaked Yukari out. "Don't worry, the door should come back once the timer runs out," Zero said reassuring. "We have ten minutes so lets get started," Zero said walking away from Yukari. The feral turned around and smiled out of excitement, "Ready, FIGHT!"
Yukari was taken by surprise but shook it off, she had been working on a battle plan to fight Zero as soon as she said she was a feral with super speed but it was quite nerve wrecking to see Zero there one second and not the next. Okay focus Yukari she can only come in with melee you can do this, she thought to herself. Yukari let loose her lightning and filled the air around her with sparks, just at that moment Zero came into finish the fight but was caught by lightning and thrown back. Zero landed on her feet and dodged a lightning strike, she started circling Yukari over and over causing a small tornado trapping her inside. Yukari panicked putting her arms over her face, she could no longer stand and she fell to her knees. She was able to calm herself down and released a large lightning field around her hitting Zero causing her to stop running and fall sliding across the ground, her muscles tightened up making it hard for her to move. Yukari stood over her with a smirk and started charging up lightning in her hand, "Looks like I win." Zero grunted and willed her muscles to move again, "You haven't won shit yet," she replied. Zero began to vibrate and sunk through the ground, Yukari gasped and fired the lightning only hitting the broken concrete that Zero was laying under. Suddenly Zero popped up behind Yukari and grabbed her by the collar then threw her forcefully onto the ground and pounced on her slamming her claws into the ground next to Yukari's face, Yukari had her eyes closed and her face was tensed up. She finally opened her eyes to see Zero on top of her and see the fiery in her eyes, she felt a sting coming from her cheek and she rubbed her hand over it then looked at her hand to see blood. Yukari's eyes widen surprised for a moment but at that moment Zero's eyes turned back to normal.
"I win," Zero says with a smile of victory. "But you did better then I could have imagined, just don't forget when your sparring to not take things so serious it's only a practice match." Yukari laughed at Zero, and raised her hand showing the blood. "Well I couldn't let you get away with hitting me with lightning so many times and then looking down at me with such a smug look on your face." Zero replied. The room turned back to normal as the time ran out and the door appeared again. "Well, although you seating on me is really turning me on, do you think we can lay some where a bit softer this floor is really uncomfortable." Yukari said sticking out her tongue. Zero blushed and quickly hoped off, "Oh sorry, didn't mean to. Umm just letting you know I don't roll that way. Not that I have anything against it." Zero said slapping herself for sounding so stupid then she held out her hand to help Yukari up. "Relax, I'm joking. Besides I only like older woman," she teased sticking out her tongue out again.
"It looks worse than it is," Bennu said, holding her broken hand. She snapped her fingers back into place with a crack and a gasp of pain. Her fingers were already starting to bruise, taking on a sickening color. Bennu sat down on her bed, turning her hand over to look at it, almost as if she didn't feel it. "I'll be fine," she grunted. "No need to tell anyone where we were, right?"
Pryce was incredulous. He never broken a bone, but he was pretty sure it was supposed to hurt, and he didn't like that color. "If we go to the infirmary, we'll have to explain the injury, is that what you mean?"
Bennu grinned, and nodded, before putting one of her good fingers to her lip conspiratorially . "It'll cause unnecessary trouble; everyone already has enough to worry about as it is."
As much as he hated to admit it right now, Bennu was right. If they went to get help, there would be questions about it. Pryce was a terrible liar. There might be an increase in security if they got caught, and punishments were sure to be severe. Even so, Pryce really thought they should get that hand checked out.
"Hey, what's that?" Bennu asked, getting off the bed like her and heading towards one corner of the room, ignoring her hand. There was an amulet with a black chain laying on the floor. In its center there was what looked like a pearl, though its surface was marred by a web of black lines. Bennu looked at it without picking it up. "This wasn't here before we left, was it? Maybe someone's sending us a message."
Pryce turned to see what Bennu was talking about, and his eyes widened in recognition. "Get away from it!" He cried, jumping forward. Before he could make it, a line darkness lashed out from the pearl and struck Bennu's injured hand, causing her to jump back. Pryce's heart nearly exploded. How could it be here? Now? It couldn't be, but now he was sure.
"What is it?" Bennu screamed, bringing her other hand up and firing off a laser. She missed the first shot, blowing off a small piece of flooring, but her second shot hit the pearl dead on. To her surprise, the pearl turned completely black, and simply absorbed the attack.
"The Blank Jewel," Pryce growled. "Th-this is the artifact t-that my g-grandfather stole," Pryce stammered. "It cursed him, and dad, and now m-me." Pryce backed away from the amulet, pulling Bennu with him. He glared at it, and said, "L-leave us alone! I-I know wh-what you are!"
And I know you, little Anchor. I wish only to help. Should you doubt, simply behold the young firebird's hand.
The voice echoed in Pryce's head, making it ache and throb. He didn't know what the voice was talking about. Firebird? The thing had hit Bennu's hand with something, hadn't it? Pryce turned around. "Is your hand alright?"
"It's...fine," Bennu said. She turned her hand around, and Pryce saw that it was back to normal. Its color was back as it was, and she was making a fist and opening it in turn. "Looks like it's healed."
"He can't do that," Pryce said, turning back to the amulet on the floor. "You can't heal. What did you do!?"
A memory seal. The firebird has locked away her true power. I merely revealed it a piece of it. If you wish for more, I may grant you both more power than your minds can grasp. You need only ask.
That was seemingly it. The voice faded, and the pearl went completely white, still lying on the floor. Pryce picked up an extra shirt of his and threw over the amulet, covering the Blank Jewel completely.

Janet continued to remove object after object without so much as acknowledging Lance’s presence. Leon and Liam were too important for her to even think of fighting with Lance at the current moment.

Unless when Leon blasted her it killed the Hive within her but why didn’t he use such a blast on the normal ones? Maybe he didn’t know what frequency to tune his shockwaves to. Ok so we know that with lab test and field test the weapon is going to work but don’t have the time to target everyone one by one nor the time to build a structure big enough to use it on the whole city. Unless. “ DJ walked over toward his laptop pulling up Uriah’s file. “ I have a question. Since we all know Uriah’s powers allows him to deflect projectiles what would happen if we could safely super charge his powers? In theory wouldn’t he be able to repel the vibrations of the S.V.E from a high point over the city?”

Not to mention the Big Apple is going to start to smell like the Big Rotten Apple so sue me for community service for once. On top of that they’ll have to bury them in Madison Square Garden. So yeah I’m sorry if little Johnny and Sally Sue isn’t going to see their Auntie sister Jenkins again but you have to stop thinking like a goodie two shoe and think like someone who has to get the job done. Plus I’ve dealt with something like this before when I was side kicking over in England when I was about 15. We did what you just asked and all hell broke lose.”
Bonnie touches the ground gently, closing her eyes, touching bare earth if she can. After a moment she opens her eyes "there is the debris field. Simon, want to go in the ground or on it, either way i can get us there." she says

"Energia gave me your message. I went to the school and got every single last one of the energy bars. Mostly for you and Hitosu, Sam, but if anyone else appears to need one..." He let the rest of the sentence hang in the air.
He looked around to survey the area. "Things are pretty bad, here. We have the military coming to show off. So be prepared. But Julian is gonna be here, also. So things should get interesting."
When Simon saw the man that was making people float over to where he and Sam were, he cocked an eyebrow. "Hi," he said with a rather flirtatious smile. "I'm Simon, Uriah and Sam's Strike Force mentor. And you would be....?" He was holding out his hand for a handshake but Star began to explode at the guy.
It didn't matter. He'd find out the man's name later. He'd make sure of it. But Janet was communicating with him mentally.

*And to answer your second question- and this is the super summed up version of the really important parts- the guy behind the Hive is a man named Bill Thresher; the people who were infected are dying because their bodies are shutting down; we might have to deal with the media; the military is gonna show up to help along with Julian; and the brainiacs are all working on a way to heal everyone so Sam, Hitosu and eventually DJ wont have to do all the work.
*And this is just so i can brag, but me and Pintar are working as the transporters and Hitosu needed something to give him some energy cause he was running through the energy bars healing everyone. DJ suggested that we raid all the stores for pops and candy and stuff like that. That so didn't work. When the kid looked like he was about to pass out, I made the decision to try to shadow hop all the way to the school for our energy bars.
*I've never shadow hopped that far before. Sure, I can hop from my dimension to this and back. But that's because my dimension is actually in the shadows. But from one coast to another...? Well, let me just say that I needed a few of those bars when I hopped back to this city and barfed. Twice. That was a lot of strain on my body, but I'm totally psyched, anyways.*

I think it’s going to take most if not all of you teachers to make this work with some of us from Strike Force. First off I think Bonnie would have to get him high enough by some type of metal from the earth that's going to carry out the blast even down into the subways. Miss. Miles would have to open his mind to help him explore his power use further while Lance,this new guy we've heard about and myself will cast spells and use luck to open up a pocket reality. Mr. Brok your power of electrical current would have to help play the part of super charging his cells without killing him. Sam, Hit and are going to have to heal him while rock keeps him still. After that Simon needs to get him down to this lab or the healing centers. Simon is the fastest out of all of us on this mission. ” Dj paused for a second looking at the floor with a defeated expression. “It’s highly dangerous through and I don’t think I can with stand losing another friend today.”
Daniel quickly took Simon's hand, "Hello, my name is Daniel Springfield, pleased to meet you Simon!" Daniel said avoiding the Star's crazy and random out burst. "So these are strike force members huh? They seem to be well trained." Daniel smiled and let go of the man's hand then turns his attention to the corpses, he couldn't just let this all of a sudden mad woman just destroy them. The spell book floated in front of Daniel and he quickly flipped the pages until he found what he was looking for then he cast the spell. The four bodies turned into rose peddles and blew away as a final send off, Daniel bowed his head for a second out of respect of the dead.

Zero stopped dead in her tracks, some demon lady was standing in front of them with a scary look in her eye and Yukari looked as if she was going to pee herself. Zero stepped in front and started to think of something to say to get this monster of of the way. "Was just showing the new student around, the training room was open so I thought we'd use it sorry if we broke any rules." Zero almost died apologizing but it couldn't be helped. She had been in trouble at the school before and sent to a small white room were her power were nullified, she had almost killed herself so she would fight this teacher before she'd go back and that might not end well for her.

Janet continued to remove object after object without so much as acknowledging Lance’s presence. Leon and Liam were too important for her to even think of fighting with Lance at the current moment.
*Let me help you .* A voice rang echoed throughout her head causing her to almost send a shower of rock and steel crashing on both her and Lance. Before the objects even began their decent she quickly looked toward the sky stopping them.* Simon I have a few questions. First and foremost whose bright idea was it to send Lance here? Secondly what was said during the briefing?* “Lance do have a sign of them yet?”
Star turned around to look at Daniel. “How was that and different from what I was doing? Oh wait it’s because I’m not one of you anymore. Right double standards. Whatever I have people to save so if you wanna cut the chit chat and do your job then maybe we can help some of these people.”
“Right.” Janet replied focusing back on the task at hand. She came to what seemed to be a lager steel door. “I have a feeling we’ll be find out what happened to them soon enough”
Back at the school Jordan sat down in the Dean’s office wondering what was going on in New York. He had been briefed on the Hive but nothing on Strike Force. Security had already been beefed up incase any signs of the Hive had made it’s way to the west coast. Thanks to Vash the campus seemed to be totally oblivious to the hike in security.

Daniel smiled and let go of the man's hand then turns his attention to the corpses. He couldn't just let this all-of-a-sudden mad woman destroy them. The spell book floated in front of Daniel and he quickly flipped the pages until he found what he was looking for then he cast the spell. The four bodies turned into rose peddles and blew away as a final send off, Daniel bowed his head for a second out of respect of the dead.

Zero stopped dead in her tracks, some demon lady was standing in front of them with a scary look in her eye and Yukari looked as if she was going to pee herself. Zero stepped in front and started to think of something to say to get this monster of of the way. "Was just showing the new student around, the training room was open so I thought we'd use it sorry if we broke any rules." Zero almost died apologizing but it couldn't be helped. She had been in trouble at the school before and sent to a small white room were her power were nullified, she had almost killed herself so she would fight this teacher before she'd go back and that might not end well for her.
As she was walking away, the two girls could hear Miss Simmons mumbling to herself, "I don't know how they even got in there without the proper clearance. If the teachers paid more attention to this school, things would certainly run a lot smoother...."
Daniel sighed when she tried to play the double standared card, it was all he could take, he put his hand over his mouth and whispered, "Silence." An invisible bubble surrounded Stars head that was sound poof, she would not even notice it was there. Daniel looked at Simon, "Damn whats her problem, is she some sort of villain that nags her victums to suicide," he said with his mouth still covered.
“Well for one Miss. Miles is one if not the worlds most powerful telepath. I’m sure it’ll only take a few seconds. I mean she did allow Liam to use her powers in a since last night from what I’ve heard. She knows the mind better than any of us. Now for the other part I hadn’t thought that part through yet. I’m not sure if Hit can do range healings or not but if not I’ve already brought a pair of metallic gloves I gave to Uriah to help him channel out whatever power he deflects. It should work with Hit if he uses one hand to channel healing into the glove and use the glove to redirect that healing into a healing beam toward Uriah. You won’t have to worry about anyone else in danger because I’ll be the only one up there with Uriah and my skin is three times as thick as any of yours. It’s still dangerous but these people are worth the risk. Once the pocket has been created I’ll shift into my other form to ensure added safety.”
“No it’s blasting punks like you to death little wizard” She had become annoyed with whoever he was. “Anyway since you heroes have the com-links I need to get in touch with my fellow members of the Links.”
“ She’s just how should I put it? Extreme. You know how the villains are. A lot of talk but little action. Now while we work tell me more about yourself.” Simon asked with a cocky grin.
“Alright DJ that’s a valid plan. I suggest we try this near the Empire State building. It’ll give the rest of us a safe distance to target Uriah without getting blasted. We’ll be on the roof.”
“Ok ese you know your teachers better than me so let’s get the others back here so we can go over the plan and save these people.”
Janet through a bit of concentration lifted the door up. “Ok Lance let’s see what we can find.”
