Zero rolled her eyes when Hunter jumped on top of the wall, he even showed off when doing a mundane thing it was stupid but it did get her attention so his showboating did pay off. Then it was Gaku's turn to get her attention when he said "I'm glade, I guess that means I still have a chance." She felt her face get a bit hot, she was in a position she never thought she'd be in, two guys fighting for her attention.

Zero shook the feelings away and jumped down off the wall and landed next to Bennu, "Come on, Zach let me borrow his car for the ones with out travel abilities," she was mainly talking about Bennu and Pryce. The car wasn't far away from the school but far enough she you couldn't see it from the school, it was a new, black Mitsubishi Lancer. "So lets go," Zero said with a hint of excitement in her voice then climbed in to the driver side. Zero didn't have a licence nor had she ever drive before today but some how she already knew how to like it was programmed into her.

Sam felt awkward dancing in front of DJ so she started out slow then started going faster, she begin to get lost in the crowed of people and also into the music, she never heard this type of music before but it seemed to move her almost as if the music it self was alive around them and pushing their bodies to dance. It was a weird feeling of mixed emotions excitement and fear that she might loose herself to the music but she was still aware of her surroundings and still able to act if something were to happen and she also knew she had lost the two guys that started dancing with her and was dance with two girls now.

It was a bloody battle for Ben and his two comrades; the graceful and elegant Asian woman Xian Chi and the teen-like and excited Hispanic boy Angel. They had just finished fighting against hordes of demons that had invaded the Spirit World. Ben knew that they were under the orders of someone else. The wolf spirit told him as much.He could also feel a strange, yet, familiar power emanating from the top of the Sky Mountains they were on.

Xian Chi and Angel were the Guardians of the Spirit World. They were tasked with protecting the entrance to the Spirit World and keep outside forces from entering. They were vastly powerful and highly skilled and each one was well over thousands of years of age. Ben had never come across them before but he did hear tales of them from the various spirits he did com across. So he was confused as to how someone could slip past them and render such chaos to this realm.

As he was clearing the battle field of the demonic bodies via a magical energy wave that disintegrated all of the bodies, he asked them, "How did all of this happen? How did all of these demons get into this world?"

Xian Chi and Angel looked at each other with puzzled looks. "We thought that you would be able to tell us," Xian Chi said as she turned towards a pile of dismembered demon bodies and leveled her scepter at them. A blue stream of energy erupted out of the orb and converged upon the pile, sucking them into it. When she turned to glance back at Ben, he took notice that her eyes were glowing a significantly brighter green.

"No. I had a vision of you two fighting a host of demons and that was it," Ben said in response.

"Si, We sent that to you," Angel chimed in after slamming his giant mallet-like hammer on top of a rather large demon. Ben saw that the flat part had opened up just before it smashed down on the demon. When Angel lifted it back up, the demon was gone. That was strange to him but he shrugged it off.

"Well, that is not telling me anything that i need or want to know," Ben quipped. "It is obvious that someone is here who should not be. I can feel a dark power resonating from the peak of this mountain. That is where we must head."

"You're the leader," Angel mumbled.

Xian Chi cleared her throat. "We should clean this mess up, should we not?"

Ben looked back at the field and his eyes flashed to jet black as he stretched out his hand,

"I shall look upon my enemies.
I shall look upon them
and the dark place will have their souls.
Corsheth! Take them!"

A bolt of bright white energy shot out of Ben's hand and all of the bodies started to disappear. Xian Chi and Angel just looked at the field until Ben was finished casting his spell. When everything went back to normal the battlefield was clear of any and every dead demon body.

"What'd you do, ese," Angel asked in sheer astonishment.

"That was the Hand of Corsheth spell. It sends a target to a dark, prison-like dimension from which they cannot escape. If there were any demons still alive, they will not be returning here."

"Interesting," Xian Chi murmured. However, she had a annoyed look on her face.

There was something strange about these two. It was as if something about them was trying to alert Ben but he wasn't paying attention to it. While they were in the midst of battle, Ben had seen how the demons were being extra careful in not dealing death blows to the both of them. They had no problem in trying to ends Ben's life but that was their mistake.

Ben waved for the two to follow him as he started to fly. Whoever it was that was causing this commotion was at the top of the mountain. They had caused Ci'Lophan'Taktanni, the mountain's guardian to go missing and most likely had something to do with it. Ben needed to get to the bottom of this. Fast.

As Ben was flying off, Xian Chi and Angel glanced at each other. "He's more powerful than we originally thought," Angel said.

Xian Chi nodded. "Yes. It will not be long before he figures things out."

"We don't stand a chance against him if he finds out who we really are before the plan is finished."

"All we have to do is play along. Keep him in the dark for as long as possible until the Great One is ready. And then we will reap."

Both of them laughed darkly as Xian Chi flew into the skies behind Ben and Angel raced on the ground after them.

Hunter smirked. It was his first day back and he was already developing a rivalry. Things like this only made him more excited. As the goggles made their way towards him, he caught them. "I don't need these. I thrive in the darkness fool!" He took out his own sunglasses and put them on, getting into the driver's side next to Zero. He had to admit, he was a bit jealous seeing Zero being flirted with, and then notice her blush. He would have to find a way to get her back, and he wouldn't let Gaku get in his way. He handed the goggles to Zero. "I'm ready... Just don't crash into a wall..." He released a nervous chuckle, not knowing if Zero could drive or not.

Bennu nodded. "Alright! Let's get going!" She'd been ready for this for a while, and now that they were almost there was getting more excited by the minute. She followed closely and took the back seat with Pryce, still fiddling with her gloves and radio and practicing with them. Mostly, she just kept hitting a few buttons.

Pryce climbed into the seat next to Bennu, saying, "Sorry, we're not too good at travel. I hope it's not a problem.."

DJ kept playing well into the night. He made sure to keep a eye on Sam whenever he wasn’t surrounded my women. “Alright Ladies and Gentlemen! You’ve been great. I’m DJ Rath’e and hit me up at my twitter page for parties, clubs, any type of event that needs a DJ. I’m play one last song for you all before I go and I want to see you tear that floor up! Laters.” DJ made gathered his equipment and pay while standing near a wall waiting for Sam to come.

Zero waited for them all to get into the car and started driving into the city in the newly dubbed cat mobile, the stereo was on but it wasn't high and to the naked eye they were just a normal group of kids just cruising around. When they got to the city they parked the car next to a street light and set the alarm, the car was nearly un-stealible. It wasn't long before they found some crime to stop, it was only a pick pocket so they caught the guy smacked him around a little and called the police and left before they got there. "Well this isn't as fun as I'd thought it would be..." Zero said disappointed. The group was in the shadow of an ally patrolling the area when a bear looking feral stumbled out of a and started walking off, he didn't look drunk but he did look like he was on something then two other guys walked out of the bar and followed the bear feral giving him lots of room. "Hey guys we might have something, lets go," she said calmly then started tracking the tree men.

The men walked until the feral was passing an ally then the two men tackled the bear into the shadows, Zero rushed to the ally but remained unseen but when she got there a van was already speeding away. Her or the boys could have easily caught them but there but if they were taking the risk of taking a feral alive then they were for sure taking him somewhere, she heard from some of her connections that feral's were going missing way before club thunder was shut down due to the slims so they might have stumbled into why they were. "Hunter, Gaku track them, stay out of sight and don't lose them. Bennu and Pryce lets get back to the car.

Hunter grimaced. "Well this is fun-" He was interrupted by a shadowy figure that he thought he saw. Hunter quickly shifted his head to the left, only to see nothing. "What the hell?" He shook his head, and rubbed his temple. "Let's go..." He was of course talking to Gaku. Hunter jumped, using a burst of dark energy. He ended up on top of the roof, and began jumping from roof to roof, trailing the van. It was much easier to track a vehicle from the roof, and much safer. He was sure nobody could see him. Suddenly Hunter's thoughts shifted to the shadowy figure he thought he saw. Something was familiar about it to him, but he couldn't figure out why. Little did he know, he would receive an answer soon enough...

Sam cut through the crowed ignoring the people she was dancing with before, she reached DJ with a smile on her face, it had been a while since she'd been dancing and had so much fun like a regular teen. "That was awesome DJ, I have to come out to your jobs more often."

"On our way," Bennu said, hurrying back towards the car. They'd already managed to get their mission going, and it was coming along nicely. Even though it was just a pickpocket or mugging or something, the fact that they were doing something was a great feeling.

"So," Bennu started, "ferals have been disappearing?" She reached the car and climbed back inside. "Let's go find 'em."

“Thanks Sam. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I love it. Making big bucks just to play music and have a good time Well we better be getting back home before the teacher start looking for us. I can see the look on Katt’s face if she found out I we was out. Better yet the look in her eyes when she switches them to feline mode. Creepy but umm your invited whenever I’m playing. Speaking of going home need a ride?” DJ asked why watching the club goers dance the night away. “Oh yeah what happen to your two guy friends?”

Andrew was in his office going over a few unimportant things. He had sent an email to every RA informing them to have a floor meeting to inform their residents about the cancelled week of class. He stated that while it wasn't school policy to do this so late, they were to post sings on everyone's door about the meeting and tell them then.

Classes were cancelled from Monday until next Monday. The recreational center and gym were still open as well as the sports fields and training center and cafeteria. But the cafes and restaurants were closed. Students were to use their free time anyway they saw fit.

After he sent the email, he showered, dressed for bed and called Jane. He missed his wife with such ferocity that a part of him wished he was with her. She was running around the world, literally, doing her part in making sure that the various countries were prepared for their versions of the school. She updated Andrew every chance she got. But he knew that he had responsibilities here in the states that he couldn't just leave behind. It wad tough, but somehow, he made it work. He and Jane talked long into the night.

It was a good thing there was no teaching for him in the morning.

Gaku pulled out his wings and flew behind Zero and the others that were in the car till they came to an area and stopped he dropped down next to them his wings disappearing. He was a little bored till they found some crimes to stop. Then they had seen a feral stumble out of a bar and get thrown into a car when he heard Zero say Feral abduction. If he had remembered correctly that's what she was he was fired up to help out his friends race. When Zero gave the order his wings appeared and he took off high into the air out of the cars view. He was able to see Hunter scaling the roof tops down below both him and Hunter could both take out the car he was just think not knowing what Hunters powers where. Gaku stayed on the cars tail like white on rice not letting it out of his sight. Taking a deep breath he was able to get a smell off of it mostly it's exhaust fumes each car no matter if it was the same or not exhaust fumes where different in smell. Now he was able to track it no matter if they lose sight of it. He hated lowering his speed to tail things as a Dragoon he was one with the sky able to fly extremely fast but he did hear of people that flew way faster then him some that could break the sound barrier. "Guys I'm over it tailing it and I've made precautions just encase we lose it, I have it's scent boy I hate tracking cars" Gaku started feeling bored he want to punch something and his dragon side did too. He then spoke sarcastically to Zero. " This is so fun chasing a car that I could easily take out ha this makes my day."_

Just as Andrew hung up, and was about to go to bed, he stiffened. Someone had entered the school. He sighed. Maybe it was one of that group of kids that left a while ago to play hero. He focused on the individual. On closer inspection, Andrew could tell that this wasn't a student. The feeling this person gave off along with their energy was one of sorrow, pain and determination.
Andrew made haste to dress himself in something presentable, and teleported to a spot near the person. They were hidden in shadow, but as soon as Andrew appeared the figure reacted. A sparkling golden wall suddenly appeared between Andrew and the stranger. The teacher smiled. He knew who this was.
"Vincent Adal, is that you?" he called out, watching confidently as the shield slowly dissolved into nothingness, and the figure stepped into the light.
"Mr Brok... Andrew." Vicent said. Obviously he had just remembered that Andrew hated being addressed as '"Mr". "It's good to see you again."
"Likewise. You kind of left without a word, you know."
"Forgive me - "
"Forget it. About 70% of all teenagers leave this place at least once."
"Speaking of leaving... I think a bunch of kid played hookie an hour or so ago. Just thought I'd let you know."
Andrew laughed, noting the subtle change of subject. "Well, I think everyone at this academy has done that at least once, myself included. But seriously, tell me. Where have you been the last year?"
Vincent explained everything. The Nights sleeping on benches, the petty thefts and vandalism's, the respite, and finally, the rehab center.
"The doctors told me that the best way to stop the relapses was to put my mind to something useful. So here I am." he finished, smiling weakly. "Sorry for coming in so late. I was just planning on sleeping somewhere just outside the school, but I got curious, so I decided to have a look around." A shining insect fluttered into view. Andrew could tell immediately that this was not a real bug, and his suspicions were confirmed when it landed on Vincent's palm, and crawled up his sleeve. "It appears the school has undergone quite a few changes since I left. It's more like a university now."
"As cautious as ever." Andrew said, shaking his head. "Very well, I'll get you signed up now, save you getting woken up by the gardener in the morning."
"Um..."
"No arguing. Not that it matters. There are no classes for a week. We're taking a break." Andrew continued, and he started walking towards the front office."
"Oh?" Vincent exclaimed. "Something good happen?"
"You could say that..."
Andrew told Vincent a shortened version of the events that transpired in New York. They shared a few abusive comments about the government while Vincent got registered. In no time at all, the teen was a student of Hero High once again. The elation Vincent felt just from holding his new student card was almost palpable. He was home.
"By the way, we were thinking of holding a tournament of your little game."
"Eh? Oh, right." Vincent laughed. "All I did was name the game, you know. "Foc/cer" does sound a little immature in hindsight, come to think of it. Anyway, what's your point? You saying I should sign up?"
"I'm not saying anything." Andrew said, with a sly look on his face. "You have your room, now get to bed. I'm tired."
"Gotcha." Vincent chuckled as the elemental disappeared in a flash of lightning. He started walking towards his dorm. "Foc/cer tourny, huh?"

Vincent walked down the corridor until he reached his new room. He waved his student card over the reader, and it beeped open. Looking inside, Vincent could see the bare essentials in the dim light. There was a small fridge humming in the corner, a desk with a water screen sitting on top , a cupboard and some draws, and of course, the bed. His first instinct was to collapse on it and drift off, but he decided to take care of business first.
He sat down at the desk and touched the water screen, which blinked to life at once. Vincent logged into the school's website and quickly pieced together his future for the next two years. He chose a variety of subjects, including combat, strategy, security and creative writing. He had just finished up and logged off the computer when there was a knock on the door. Cautiously, Vincent moved forwards and opened the door.
It wasn't clear who was more surprised - Vincent, or the man who stood before him. Each wore the identical expression of shocked amusement on their face. Neither of them spoke for nearly a minute.
Vincent broke the silence first. "Didn't think I'd have you for a roommate."
"RA, actually." the other replied, his Australian accent was as clear as glass. He was smiling. It wasn't the cold sarcastic smirk Vincent has been expecting. It was genuine. This person, Ian Croft, had been Vincent's rival for years, and had personally blamed him for the death Isaac committed, but it appeared that Vincent was not the only person who had changed with time.
"RA, huh? I suppose you have a sheet of some kind for the week's events,?"
"It's in the common room." Ian walked out, and Vincent followed. The common room was large and circular. Ian indicated the sign on the wall for Vincent to look at, and opened the fridge, pulling out two 4x's. Evidently he couldn't resist bringing a bit of home with him.
"I'm an Australian citizen, so even though we're the same age, I can drink, and you can't. However, its your first day back, so what the hell." he said, tossing the beer over to Vincent, who caught it and cracked it open while he looked at the notice board.
"I knew it, a foc/cer tourny. Andrew wasn't joking." he said, looking at the sheet. He picked up a pen from the wall and scribbled "Vicent Adal - Striker, Team Captain." His handwriting was flawless - A memento of the thousands of forms he had to sign at the rehab center.
"Think you can win your title back from me?" Ian asked from across the room. Vincent noted that Ian's name was just above his own. He had even applied for the exact same positions.
"I lost my title to you?" the mage asked with mock horror, pretending to choke on his drink. "Dear god! What's the world come to?"
"You can't expect to remain the best at the game if you quit... No offense."
"Well I'll just have to win it back. I'm pretty sure I can still take you to school."
"Challenge accepted." The two laughed, clinked their bottles together and took a long drink. When they finished, a serious air suddenly crept over the room.
"You don't... Hate me?" Vincent asked.
"I did." came the answer. "for a long time. I knew it wasn't really your fault, but all the same. Then I heard some rumors. Something about respite. After that, I could only feel sorry for you."
"I wont lie. The respite thing was kinda stupid."
"Understatement of the century." Ian snorted. "But if you're here, that means you're part of the 0.02% that could quit. Can't have been easy..."
"Now that's the understatement of the century." Vincent replied, grimacing. "I've been clean for 3 weeks, but I still get nightmares about it. You have no idea, man... It was crazy beyond belief."
"Mmm."
Vincent finished his drink, and threw it expertly into the trash. "Thanks for that. You staying up?"
"I have to. Got RA stuff to do. Get some sleep. You'll need all the rest you can get for this tourny."
"Smart ass. 'Night." Vincent said, walking back to his room. Rivals they may still be, but now things were definitely looking up for their friendship. Hero High's newest mage closed the door to his room, and fell onto the bed. Even as sleep claimed him, he started imagining training routines at the gym and out on the field, to help get him back into the game. He may have been have been joking around with Ian, but the truth was that he really would have to work hard to get his title back. This was going to be a fun challenge.

Zero sped after the boys, their communicators were all linked so they gave off a signal so she just followed that. The van stopped in front of a warehouse and they brought the unconscious feral inside. Zero parked the car in the shadows of a building not too far away from the warehouse. Zero ran quietly to the side of the warehouse and spotted the fire escaped and climbed it as silently as she could until she made it to the roof and found a window on top and was able to peer down and see that there was a few unconscious and some human guards. Zero started thinking of a way to free the all the feral and do as little damage to the humans as possible, she didn't want be responsible for murdering one of these guys.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sam nodded to DJ, she could have just teleported home but this was a great opportunity to finally get to know him a little better, "So did you need help loading your equipment?"
Of course Hunter would appear seconds later beside Zero, also analyzing the scene before him. He didn't know the human's motive, but he knew what was going on before him was illegal. He nudged Zero and whispered. "I know how to knock those guards out with one punch, and luckily I have just the ability on how to do it unnoticed." He smirked, ready to show off and impress Zero. "While I was away, I furthered my skills, and I can perform what is known as Umbrageous Teleportation. Rather than explain what this ability does, I can show you." Hunter stood up and stepped back. He grinned as his body began sinking into his own shadow, made by an isolated lamp post. He would disappear from view, and if Zero continued to watch inside of the warehouse, she would notice Hunter silently appear behind each guard one at a time. Using his expert martial arts skills he would hit a point on their body that would make them drop instantly, without actually hurting them. Hunter repeated this several times, until all of the guards were down. He looked up signaling to Zero that it was clear to enter. The next part would be harder. Now they needed to free the Ferals.
Zero was kinda impressed by Hunter's moves but of course she wouldn't show it. Instead she opened the window and jumped down onto the walk space and seen a stair way for Pryce and Bennu so there was no need to find away for them to get down so she just jumped and landed by Hunter. "Good work," she said while taking a look around, "no way that was all of them keep an eye out just in case there are more people here." Zero looked over the feral who seemed to be sleeping peacefully and figured they were all under some really strong sadative. She took another look over the room and found a stack of papers on one ofr the crates, it was some sort of order form with the letters, S.A.S. Zero had seen this before and it sent a chill down here spine, it was the orginization that created her. The words stood for Science Against the Supernatural and whatever was going on here had something to do with them. Zero shoved the paper into her pocket and put her focus back on the ferals that slumbered, "I'll start gettin these guys out of here, there's a hospital just for supers not to far from here, we'll drop them off and head home. I have to check some things out," she said picking up one of the feral and bringing him to the exit. Zero opened the door and found that the driver of the van was still there along with a few other guys, she pressed the button thats was on her radio and whispered into the mic hangng from her ear, "Prycie, Bennu you guys think you can take out those guys?"
