Which begets the question, why aren't we at war with radical Judaism? They've organized tons of attacks on the US.
Organized. Not carried out?

How come both are not considered the same in the Western World?

Why is Anti-Muslim hostility is seen as natural and normal but with Anti-Jewish hostility it is just seen as plain racism.

Why the double standard?

Essentially, because today jews are viewed as westerners and muslims are seen as the 'other'. Plus, the holocaust is still too fresh in everyone's memories for the good ole anti-semitism to return as it was - calling them foreigners in their birth countries. I don't think the acceptance of islamophobia is as prevalent as you believe though.

The hostility to islam that does occur, mostly stems from phobia of migration in Europe and moronic reactions to the WTC attacks in the USA. In Latin America, islam is mostly ignored or treated as a matter of curiosity, aversion to it is pratically inexistant.

Scapegoats are always needed for war.

Hitler used Anti-Semitism as a means to go to war with Germany, while the USA is using this Islamophobia as a means to go to war with the Middle East.

After 911 alot people been Islamophibia and I don't think that will change any time soon. But I think it will get better as years go by.As for Anti-Semitism I don't think that it is a issue for anyone at all. 🙂

Don't you think the Jews might have a problem with it?

Why don't you ask one and find out.

Uh, yeah, it's still a problem. As for your ignorant comment of "radical Judaism" and attacks in the US, I can name one attack planned by Kahanists that was successfully foiled. They pull off a lot of shit in Israel, most of it unsuccessful but their threat in the US is non-existent. The common profile of a terrorist in America is white, chrisitan, bald, and wearing red-laced Doc Martens.

Maybe but they get use to it after awhile.

And that makes it okay?

Er in the 1970s the JDL blew up like a dozen buildings. The FBI considers them a legitimate terrorist threat even to this day.

People bad mouth and againist people who are Chiristian more then just the jews and I let it side.

That's quite different though. It's not a bigoted hate of Christians that most people have. Additionally Christians happen to be the majority.

If it happens as some sort of "racist" hatred against Christians then that is just as bad, however the effects are usually not nearly as severe.

What most terrorists in the US look like-

And just to be clear, these do not include REAL skinheads-

I would have said so too, but aparently the FBI disagrees, iirc, Latinos were the largest group

Of what?

FFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...

I actually just deleted the bookmark....

here is a news report:

http://www.loonwatch.com/2010/01/not-all-terrorists-are-muslims/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+loonwatch+%28loonwatch.com%29

and the FBI document... it might be worth reading sometime, I have no idea what they are qualifying as terrorism

http://www.fbi.gov/stats-services/publications/terrorism-2002-2005/terror02_05

interesting to note, a good number of those come from Peurto Rico, I imagine the Communist, Leftist and maybe even Latino numbers are inflated because of this.

This is curious. Apparently, environmentalists targeting property and materials, but not people, madee up the majority of attacks carried out between 2002 adn 2005. Right wing extremists made up the majority of attacks aborted by the FBI.

ya, it is a weird issue of definitions...

idk, I tend to see labs and such being targeted as legitimate "terrorism", just, ya, probably of a totally different nature than the violent stuff that militias plan

Yeah I agree. Vandalism is a more adequate definition for most of the incidents they called 'terrorist attacks'. I personally cannot lump the deliberate destruction of property toghether with the deliberate killing of innocent people

Edit: I think this treatment of any politically motivated ilegal action as terrorism is more of a political use of a buzzword than anything else.
