Legend of Zelda Movie

I picked this up off the net awhile ago... happy haloween! Heh I hope the real time movie costumes turn out better o.O

heh, yea I was picturing better. A little darker, more realistic. As everyone puts it, a similarity to LOTR.

And Princess Zelda has different ears than Link. Less pointed outwards and more LOTR-elvish. But those are the kind Link needs.

Those are the best LOZ costumes I've seen... If you know them, tell them that they did an excellent job...

(this coming from a costume veteran myself...)

wow those are high quality costumes. I wanna dress up as someone from zelda ; _ ; ) *sniff*

Thjose costumes are really good. Especially for Halloween or an Zelda convention but that won't work in the movie. Especially those ears!!!!

I'd like to have a Ganondorf costume when the time comes along. Yet, I have been drawing some TLOZ pictures, but they look pretty bad, but I suppose that's a start..."Don't give up unless you really want to" I think that the costumes from the movie would be really cool, I'd like to see Link in something more Creative in Detail when he's wearing his Tunic and such. Whenever I think about that, I see him wearing a Pastey Green Tunic as green as Lettuce.

They should base it all on the ocarina of time story almost exactly like the game and make one movie when hes young and one when he finds the sword and pulls it and grows up that would instantly become my favourite movie ever

I'd love to get involved with professional costume-making for movies... *dreamy look*

But yes, costumes shown are good for halloween (great even!), but just won't cut it for a movie without looking pretty cartoony. Hmm... perhaps if the costumes were redesigned a little, given a bit more detail and realism (a la LOTR style), they could work very nicely...

And Link has to have some sort of green tunic... or he just won't be Link...

well he's gonna have to rock a goron and a zora tunic for certain parts... otherwise he'll burn to death or drown 😛

Maybe they could have cool looking patterns on the tunics, like a movinb water-pattern on the Zora tunic and a sort of rock/armor look to the Goron tunic... perhaps the same type of pattern as the Zora, only in red fire...

Looky

Ok now THIS took awhile to do... tried to make it darker for ya *looks around suspisiosly*. Pay no atention to the fairy girl on the left... the gloves were hard >_<

Well, the gloves sure add a touch of character...after all Link is an acher and his fingers would get sore, plus they look cool. But the tunics that Link wears are pretty original. Maybe do what Belldandyx said and give it some pattern for that Green one. Or maybe I'm just wrong and everything should stay the same as if it were a real-live action movie from the Cartoon.

happy to be Link

i have done alot of stage acting and while i have never wanted to be an actor the only role i have ever wanted was that of Link so i would be happy to do it...espeacially it the script was along the lines of OOT, i can relate to that Link...oh well if not me they should go with an elf we all know and love Legolas(orlando bloom)

i've done some stage acting, i don't look anything like Link, and even I would be "happy" to do it. (as most people probably would) but my question is....what makes OoT more relatable than any of the other LoZ games? Everybody wants to be that guy that goes on a radical adventure to save "the girl." Unless you're the girl that wants to be saved by some bad ass like Link.

i guess the OoT is relatable because at first young Link isn't who You would expect to be the hero and we all want to be that guy...that goes beyond expectations to become the legend

I guess it's the basic story of of an ordinary kid finding out he has an extraordinary destiny, and the journey to becoming a hero. Who, out of all of us, wouldn't like to be told that the world is in trouble, and we're the only hope? I definately wouldn't mind being a "destined hero."

I agree with the movie specific patterns, it adds more detail to the visuals. Maybe even have certain threads of the fabric shimmer

What I don't great anymore is how people are connecting LOTR with LOZ, The only thing that they have in common is that we all talk about if Orlando Bloom should be link, besides that there is no other link visible...and don't go around mentioning that Eliaja Wood is going to be in LOZ, cause that's not true (unless he really wants to be)...I know about these things, I have a keen nose...I'm a top breeder!

Yet, between the things of the games to movies, I'd say that OOT is up for BEST GAME TO MOVIE...But you people have no creativity what-so-ever. Don't try and make a movie from a video game that's already been played more times than the TOMMY/PAM XXX VIDEO. No, do a whiplash, and blow us all the hell away cause doing something that has a new idea is totally better than the old. For example, Windwaker was done in a cel-shading style, but if it were to be done in a reality style, then it would be better, CAUSE IT IS SOMETHING NEW. And, maybe some cooler characters will be put in this NEWWER LINK FANTASTY...HAPPY? Go play some Zelda!!!

another movie based on a video game
YEARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is that a bad thing strega ?? I personally love video games turned movies.
