I've been waiting for a Zelda movie for a long time. I think it would be a great idea! The story is outstanding, the characters so in-depth, and the feel of the whole fantasy world of Hyrule has always captivated me. To see all of this come together for the first time on the big screen would just be woderful. As long as the plot is true to The Legend of Zelda series, than I say on with the show!
I spoke to him about the 'sword in the chest' thing. Apparently the sword is in the chest because the first king of Hyrule made that chamber and hid the sword for safe keeping in case something bad ever happened like this and a hero was needed. He said he would contemplate having the sword be upright in a stone pedestal of sorts. It is even explained in the script but I missed it completely.

Well, let's hope that your friend makes this movie as good as everyone of us can hope...Not like Nintendo is EVER, and I do mean EVER in this sense, but NOT like Nintendo will ever make any desperations to put Zelda onto the full screen, I mean come on...This would be so INCREDIBLE. The world that the movie could pull you in would be just as going to a themepark with twisted rides and intense coasters...I'd have a variety of themes.

I think that the whole characters have a lot of detail in the video games and when some movie comes along, well I just hope to actually see something more than just the little city inside the castle of Hyrule, the forest, the theives (I think it was the gerudos?), and the zoras. I mean, it would actually add a little bit of OOOMPH the WORLD. In the game, there would probably be about 50-60 people in the whole game (Ocarina of Time). Just thinking about a zelda movie is just as probably thinking about the N64 back in the days (man, those days were pretty crazy, just look at the things coming around NOW)...Also, just a word of advice...NOBODY, and I mean NOBODY can destroy Link, he sure kicked some ass in SB: MELEE
Weirdly enough, I remembered that I was actually excited back when I heard that there was a Mario Movie...I suppose whoever bought the rights from Nintendo to feature it as a movie must not have had enough experience to actually put anything out...It'd be just like making a Trilogy out of a very short video game. I'm only saying this was a bad idea because back in that time (I think it might've been 92?). And so, whatever company had the rights to feature a mario bros movie, made an example to ALL those HOLLYWOOD BASTARDS (AAHHHHHh!!!! VENGEANCE!!!)...AND SO, by making a movie from a video game will only bring upon your future, BAD LUCK.
Yet, this is bullshit, you will never have anymore power over Zelda than the people in the offices at NINTENDO...We have as much property of this whole francise since they are the ones that depend on us...So, we go march our asses over to Nintendo and Petition "the creator finally make a movie based upon Zelda"...Yet, we'd probably be thrown into Jail, cause it might illegal there. Well, who wants to go on a FIELD TRIP?

Anyways, even I tried to go around and write some stuff down, that was before the Microsoft Word got erased. I love your attitude a lot, but please cheesebuger, give hope to those that do need the motivation that they make it past our thoughts and into THE BIG SCREEN. I'm saying to help those that have the edge to make "IT" and not that movie with Tim Curry...No, I mean to MAKE a Legend of Zelda.
Carl has posted on this site and has a friend, who I don't know if he's someone famous or not (it's probably Ron Howard "8-O"😉 but none the less, this is as good as it EVER going to get...Nintendo ONLY will make games, and movies WON'T do games, unless it has a sexual content or mass violence. Personally, FF7 was kick ass awsome and it had some villianous parts...make that into a movie SQUARE!!!
As for me, I'm going to become what everyone has hopes for...If you ever want a sequel to Mario Bros. (let's not think of it as the second video game), then I will give you a dream that you can hold in your hands, but as for us all...I'm not there yet, go and help Carl's FRIEND.
They definatly could, I thought about that before, great idea but out of all the other nintendo movies i only count one..........The Super Mario bros movie Which i loved I brought the VHS Copy from a kid in my school it was nearly brand new awesome quality and he charged me 4 dollars!!!!!!!!!!! i love that movie...BUT i do reakon if it was fully funded that they could do great things with it but i dont see it happening, like i said there has only ever been 2 movies based around huge franchises being the mario and final fantasy movies mario was never supposed to be good but i loved it and Final Fantasy was hyped so so so much when it came out it was more or less a dissapointment and Square lost alot of money so i dot think it will happen
I think they could get an awesome 2 1/2 hours or so, out of doing maybe, flashbacks of what happened when Link was a kid, than they could do the Forest, Water, and Shadow temples, since I think restoring the Forest, Water in Lake Hyrule, and than just cuz it was eerie the Shadow Temple, than have the last half hour for Ganon's Tower, and the Final Battle. 😄
Hey forget about Zelda, who would be Ganondorf? That'd be some good figuring...especially if it was some kick ass dude who has a history of being a villian. I think that maybe Jason Statham could do that part pretty good, except his accent, but he could work around that...
