That's what I am basing it off of, the entire fight. I never said that thanos didn't land any licks, what I stated was "when they went melee, thanos got stomped" and that is exactly what happened. That fight is irrelevant to use since thanos didn't shine in a melee confrontation with that vs of thor and physically, I think wwh could either match or surpass that thor in a physical confrontation.
Wwh recently learned how to go into a rage state (which basically makes him more powerful) but while being in this state he has learned how to control his power (and rage). Current hulk is just entirely on a new level especially with him over powering a being that amped himself in the 100 trillion ton level... especially with him tanking a punch that was so hard that it created a nuke like explosion. Melee would be the last choice thanos would want to resort to.
I must not be aware of these new feats for WWH.. can you please elaborate on them for me so I can see what happened and the context behind it.
Lastly, you again fail to mention that Thanos landed THE hardest blow of the entire fight during the MELEE part of the fight. He sent Thor THROUGH a metal floor with a punch... Thor never landed any such blow with that kinda power to send Thanos through a metal floor. So again, no Thanos didn't get the worst of the melee part of the fight, in fact he won this fight from start to finish.

Here we have skaar amping himself... absorbing energy from the earth. We have the fantasic four along with other heros trying to prevent this from happening but they were unable to budge him. Read the second scan... he absorbs 100 trillion tons of force from the planet and he was still amping after this.

As for your comment on Thanos sending Thor through a metal floor... didnt Thor send Thanos flying through a metal wall? Again, looking at the melee fight, Thor landed more blows on Thanos and rocked him enough for him to go and get his gun out of the closet.
