Its meant for chess but it applies here. With thanos being the inferior pistion [/B]

There are multiple web definitions and I used one. Figures you'd put up a chess definition. LOL.

The term stalemate is usually used to refer to chess. But it applies here. With thanos being the inferior player and ending the game but not having a chance of winning although neither side wins.Exactly the same as odin match.

I already gave you a web definition which described the situation to a tee whereas you want to use the chess def. which doesn't apply since they weren't playing chess. Come on man.

Thanos is my second favorite character ever.
But still, he's in for a cosmic wedgee.

You do realize that the chess definition is actually the closest one to your lultastic definition right?

Most of the other definitions generally don't allow one to claim stalemate when for most of the game/fight you've been treated like a ***** and you just manage to squeeze by through evasion and/or lasting until the bell/buzzer/some interuption.

Wrong, I always stated both but you clearly stated his blows didn't affect Galactus. It's you who doesn't understand the language not myself.
You always stated "rocked" and then I suppose you are now admitting that you back-pedaled and mentioned "effected," a much less controversial position which merits no argument whatsoever, since getting knocked hundreds of yards is, in itself, an "effect." I understand you are trying to offer me lessons in English. I've seen you advertise your grasp of the English language in other threads and this one. No sale.

Next time, don't back down from your initial position, e.g., "Thanos rocked Galactus," and start pressing/conflating other pitiable arguments to avoid the critique of your blunderous initial positions. You see what happens: you conflate terms and when other posters start pointing that out, you either take several pages in back-and-forth denial to finally admit it, or you waste several pages spiraling all the way back around and ironically blasting your own confused terminologies.

That is not productive discussion. No matter how witless your original position is.

This is funny. We have 2 conversations here.
1. Whether Thanos did any damage to Galactus. (He really didn't. It was the equivalent to a slap to the face, it probably cause Galactus pain but it didn't did any measurable damage to him)
2. Whether Thanos "stalemated" Odin. (That was no stalemate. To me a stalemate is a battle that ends without either party having an advantage. Odin has a significant advantage at that point)

But the topic is Hercules vs Thanos. 😆

Funny story: I actually had to look up the definition of debunk.

I wasn't laughing at the topic, I was just laughing at how off-topic we've gotten.

There was a typo. It was supposed to be Thanos vs Galactus (current)

be sure to inform null on it's proper usage then 🙂

I also love how ODG... complains about Quan's wrong choice of words.. and yet somehow that justifies him choosing bad words as well... that makes sense... not

Man he just punched Balder in the face.
