The ground punch isn't a serious move. Sure it's fun to use, but it's just way too slow and can be knocked out of.

I was actually in the middle. I just had to explain Akuma more, as he isn't as known here.

IMO, Blanka VS Sagat 2 [CVS2😆] is pretty good, but 3rd Strike is always at the top of the mounatin, for me. The roll cancelin', the shaft given to the SNK characters, and the reuse of them old ass Alpha and Morrigan sprites took major points from the game.

in the arcade you can bet your ass you will be getting tiger shots to the knees and face non-stop so they can charge their V-ism to custom combo the tiger uppercuts, then tiget knee on wakeup

Sagat's always been my favorite character to play with (followed closely by Fei Long, Dudley, and Alex). I really wish they'd have included him in the Marvel Vs. Capcom series (Alex as well).

Oh yes, and even if you knew the Tiger knee was commin', there was nothin' you could do. Block it and he'd still be safe. And V-ism is almost never a good thing, there's almost always somethin' wrong with it, no matter what game it's in. Sagat is the shit in just-about every game he's in, but if dude is better than the amped up boss characters at the end of the game, there is a problem. Blanka-AG, Sagat-CG, Sakura-AG, and Bison-AG phucked that game up.

Sagat's been my go to guy as well. It's just a coincidence that he's 'always' the best.

Anyways yea the roll canceling can be a way to enhance a game or ruin it, but only very, very few people can do it. I'd just specify whether or not it is allowed on the start.

Better than using one super and 3rd grade parrying. 😛

Sagat is always powerful. It's a trend. V-ism was great if used properly. It took more skill though.

Alpha Series was always my favourite followed by the Xmen VS Streetfighter series.

I hate Marvel Vs Capcom games.

Inertial dampeners and shields should deal with a energy/Kinetic based attack like that nicely.

Extremis uppercuts Akuma through his fricken skull with enough strength to make Hulk bleed.

Tony turns invisible and hits the sky. Activates sensors that could process Dr Strange in Astral form. Soaks area with ear blistering Sonics then Nukes the area with his satellite beam.
Or after the fail ground strike traps Akuma who needs to recover after such an attack in a force field.

Ninjak loves him some Extremis, it can't lose to anybody.
