MVC2 is so damn broken that it's actually not broken. As crazy as it sounds, it is indeed true.
^That, and there is so much wrong with the code of the game. The developers said somethin' about the game being held together with sticks and glue. The game is so broken and crazy that there is always somethin' new and even more broken to discover the next year. The top tier, when the game 1st came out, is not the same as it is now. And in a few years from now: Magneto, Storm, and Sentinel won't be god tier anymore, it'll be someone else. The meta game for MVC2 is unrivaled, it's a true arms race in the FG world. The epitome of fighting game freedom.
Someone is gonna find some extravagant, elaborate trick, with some obscure character and it's gonna be time for MSP and the likes to take a back seat. The game is always changing.
Cable, Magneto, Storm, Sentinel, Iron Man, Stryder, and Juggernaut what do these guys have in common...spam im not usually one to complain about spam and such things but MVC...IMO worst game ever...remember IMO you cant win without a good spamming technique LMAO when i played i used venoms move where he lunges at opponent then i just back use Iron Man repulsor blast... wash, rinse, repeat, and hideously boring win...just like other people do

Yeah, you need to be able to zone to be worth anything in that game, but I asure you, when there are 2 people of high skill playing, you'll be seein' more than projectiles. There is some serious strategy and thought going on in that game. And, Juggs is garabage. He's one big hit box that you can infinity all day. The only thing useful about him is his belly splash assist and his power up glitch.

It's in my top 5. The game still has BIG problems. One of which, lets just say for long periods, you couldn't pick annyone you actaully liked and expected to win.
If you like Spidey, Wolvy, and Cap. Prepare to get your ass kicked 100% of the time. As it is now, the game has 56 characters and less than 10 are actually worth anything at higher level play. If you were a fan of anyone in the other 40 somethin', you're SOL.

Although, I'm surprised noone mentioned how 3rd Strike suffers from a very similar problem. It may not be as bad as MVC2 but it's still there.
