Alpha vs Sf?

Anyways yea the roll canceling can be a way to enhance a game or ruin it, but only very, very few people can do it. I'd just specify whether or not it is allowed on the start.

Better than using one super and 3rd grade parrying. 😛

Sagat is always powerful. It's a trend. V-ism was great if used properly. It took more skill though.

The roll cancelin' is pretty hard, but it can really phuck up a good match. You could have a hell of a lead and lose it all in moments. Not all supers are suppose to be invincible.

Man, no lie, ALL the Capcom Grooves are better than the SNK Grooves. Which of the Cap Grooves was better depended on the character. That part of the game was one of my favorites (V-ism Sagat is tops for me). I got the JP DC version, the one before all the balance tweaks, so you know it gets crazy.

Lol. I think MvsC is a great game to hang out and play with friends. I wouldn't play it more seriously than that. Not that I do any game.

Yea with games that have "skill glitches" like Smash, I'd just indicate in the beginning whether to use it or not. You're right, if one person can't do it, you're boned.

I like the SNK grooves. N groove was on of the best, easy burn stock with the fast level 3. K groove was cheesy to me.

But you had so many options and systems and ways to play the game, whereas with SF3 they took away everything, weakened projectiles, and made the teleport stop even if was done *before* the move. WTF?! I don't know how *anyone* can say Third Strike Akuma was the best. He definitely wasn't.

Yeah....you guys played those games waaaaay too much.

I don't play video games much at all now. I just knew all the technical aspects of them. If I do play I like to play crazy hard games or do crazy things with them. Once you understand the technical aspects of a game it carries over.

misogi drop isn't energy or kinetic 😬 and also they're are other Iron Man suits at play here Akuma completely destroys Tony without his extremis armor which he still could lose with

great story

Sagat's been my go to guy as well. It's just a coincidence that he's 'always' the best.

I fricken mastered the Alpha series and Xmen/SF Ken and Bison were my power duo. Sometimes Cody for fun.

Loved pulling off those Dragon uppercuts just before my opponent would jump kick me.

Which was your favorite alpha?

Honestly it's been years but 3 had everything the previous ones had plus those cool V Xand A isms.

And split sec glitches to take advantage of.
I just wish I could take my PS controller into arcades and rape the public like they have in Japan I would have been a FRICKEN GOLDEN GOD!

Like Adonis?

I love Alpha 3. Now, come to think of it, why don't they put dramatic battle into the games!? That was the most fun thing of all!

Yeah 4 players trying to beat a pumped up Bison or Akuma would be fun.

Or an ultra durable and Strong Hulk!

If Capcom vs SNK 2 had that I would have loved it all the more. It wouldn't have taken much effort to do so. Lazy Capcom.

I thought Hulk was already strong and durable.

Hulk sucks in MvC it just pained me to watch characters like Roll slap him to death.

I know nobody agrees with me but I loved Marvel Nemesis on the Gamecube the Characters weren't balanced some were just better but Logan could still beat Stark if you played your cards right.

Never played it.

It was an awesome game with 3D environments Logan, DD, Elektra etc would throw projectiles and run along walls and try to get in close while Hulk, Thing, Venom would pick up and throw cars, Trucks and stuff while creating blast radius damage.

A fanboys dream with a cool alien invasion backdrop of New York.

We need more games like that.

I remember that teamup game that had rpg elements. Is that what I'm thinking of?

Nah it was isometric view 1 on 1.
Magneto would just bring the cars to him and throw them.
Ironman would fly and shoot repulsors and missiles.
YouTube video

I remember reading about this. Never played it though.

If you own a Wii you can buy it for 5 bucks.

The sequel looked promising but got canned due to marketing scumbags.

What happened?
