RoTS Vader vs Half-Blood Prince
This is Vader before he was BBQed. Vader uses the Force and lightsaber and Half-Blood gets his wand and magic. Who emerges victorious?

Why do you always post song vids in your matchups?

No. Snape apparates out of Anakins line of sight and death spells him. Only chance a Jedi has against an uber wizard is surprise.
Anakin has precog, and is considerably faster than Snape in reaction-time.
Avada Kedavra can be block good sir.
Anakin crushes Snape's windpipe at the start of the fight, leaving him unable to speak, and he dies.

LoLz at more HP faggotry.Evil Anakin destroys him; easily too. Force-Precog and heightened reaction times means he gets to attack first/counter.
Death Spell travels relatively slow and can be blocked(as shown). It's not tagging Anakin.
Apparition, dude. Snape apparates away to whereever he wants to. Apparates back, out of Anakin's line of sight. Snape apparates a few hundred feet from Anakin, "accio lightsaber", Anakin is disarmed.
Not to mention half-apparition: Snape will be nothing more than a cloud of smoke. Try catching a cloud of smoke with your bare hands.
If we go by high end feats from their respective movies, Snape can attack from much further away with spells than Anakin can with force attacks.

And Snape or any other wizard would be a fool to go toe to toe with a Jedi/Sith. This is where apparating comes into play.
Odds of Anakin blocking ALL spells with his lightsaber? Unlikely.
Force powers cannot block magic, just like a protego shield charm cannot block force powers.
Nah, Anakin was never shown "crushing" a windpipe. He was shown strangling people. If he does this, Snape apparates away. Simple.
Or Snape simply apparates to Hogwarts, sips some felix felicis, and yeah.....
Two more things:
http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Legilimency
Enables toe caster to read, control and unhinge the victim's mind.
http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Sectumsempra
When uttered, its effect is the equivalent of an invisible sword, slashing the target repeatedly.

besides wasn't all this covered in previous hary potter/ star wars threads???
Bruce, think about it....You are Snape, you know how fast a Jedi is, you know that if you go toe to toe with them you'll be slashed to bits. Would you? OR......Would you distance yourself from them, cast spells from afar, use powers that enable you to teleport to whereever you want?
If/when Snape uses apparition, there's no way Anakin gets close enough to attack. If Anakin gets too close, Snape simply apparates away.
Protego shield charms cannot block the force. The force cannot block magical spells. Only magic can block magic, and only the force can block the force. The lone exception here is when death spells were bouncing off of tombstones, and it's highly unlikely that a lightsaber will block a death spell. IF a lightsaber is capable of blocking spells, then a Reducto spell will surely destroy the lightsaber, causing it to explode in the Jedi's hands.
Also, Vader would be helpless to Occlumency, Imperio, Crucio.

Fore-precog, dude and Anakin is a lot faster in reaction time. So he's likely to attack with the Force before wizard can teleport.
If the wizard does manage to teleport first(not likely), Anakin will sense(Qi Gon Gin spoke about this) where he's going to appear right before he appears and will be ready with an attack. Wizard's not going to be casting a spell when he's being thrown about like a rag doll with Force-push/pull or being crushed with Anakin's butt-hurt scream.
Smoke has mass, it can be affected by the Force. Held, for example.
The Force is limited by range now? So Anakin can't use the Force on someone he can see/within his line of sight? Na.
