i agree with a lot of ppl that Daken is just garbage all around lightweight is just being nice..
he is used to smear and wipe by marvel characters..
although the fight with Spidey was clearly onesided at 1st and simply changed for the benefit of the hero and story context..
the light slam to a wall and electric box wouldnt put down a bone skeleton logan nor Deadpool... and if Daken was comparable to them it wouldnt work on him either... but, garbage is garbage when daken is involved

Hm, I don't know honestly.
What we've seen of Gorgon in the speed and damage soak departments is incredible. Honestly I don't think the symbiotes are going to win this fight with slashing and punching.
What will make this fight interesting is the way in which Gorgon goes about handling the tendrils, closing ground, and landing enough damage on them with a sword to take them out of the fight..... or even if he can.
I will say this.... he's called the gorgon... if his powers work like his namesake suggests, then this fight will be nearly impossible for the symbiotes to win... Not saying that the stone stare is an autowin for Gorgon either but it makes it impossible for the symbiotes to gain an advantage.... as to whether it should work or not...
eeehhhhIIII'm inclined to think there's no reason for it not to, and while the penance stare was good enough evidence to bring the tactic under doubt they ARE two entirely seperate abilities.
GR's stare is a sin based ability. If the symbiote has no concept of what a sin is, and Eddie's so far gone that he justifies everything he does... well it's no wonder that it didn't work on the boys. The psychic backlash... yeah I don't even know what that was about.
Gorgon's abilities as far as I'm aware are entirely dictated by sheer eye contact with no circumstances beyond that.
If it works, he can win nearly all these fights IMO.
As for his TP... Venom.. I've never seen him up against an A-lister in telepathy....
We've seen Wolverine block Emma Frost.
We've seen Elektra block Jean Grey.
But Gorgon read them both like a book at the same time under duress. I don't think there's any credible evidence to suggest he couldn't read a symbiote user.

I think the first fight's a good one and probably more of a tossup than not.. Eddie's a sneaky bastard, but he doesn't utilize his speed very well most of the time. Gorgon's by enlarge faster acting than Venom is and he's always VERY casual about it, indicating to me that he's nowhere near his limits in the feats he's displayed. IMPO he still has one of the most impressive processing feats in Marvel E.
With a combination of his speed, skill, and TP reading, I don't see Eddie walking away with an advantage under most cases... I just keep thinking of the fight DD and Venom had with DD leaping all around him hitting nerve spots. Except this time it will be a far superior opponent with a sword.
2.... I can't say for certain only because Anti-Venom for what he's done is still a largely unkown character in concerns to his abilities.
3... Carnage suffers worse than Brock does in the first fight and I don't care how much people want to blow smoke up Cassidy's ass presuming that he actually lived up to his hype... he didn't.

Is spidey fast? He sure is, hellava fast, is he faster than logan, I would give him a small edge against logan speed wise. Can he do to logan what gorgon did to logan, f*** no. Is spidey faster tha elektra, I think so, by a small gap but some people say this is debatable. Can spidey walk through elektra withouut getting touched? It will never happen. Can spiderman blitz both elektra and wolverine in the same fashion as gorgon did... sure won't... it will never happen.
I already know gorgon is a new villian but that doesn't take away from his feats. If anything, in time, he will get more feats. He already recently got a showing of slicing bullets out of the air at point blank range.
Spiderman is good but you are over hyping him. If he was as powerful as you say that he is, why don't people think that he could beat wolverine in a melee confrontation like gorgon did? I can give spidey a sword and he still wouldn't beat logan in a melee confrontation. The only time he would win is if he has his webbing.
By the way, I never said that gorgon is a herald. I put him, wolverine, and spiderman in the same class.
