I wrote up a long *ss post on this waaaay back in the day when the MVF first started:

All versus matches take place in a "matrix" type of system in which all powers and "given" equipment is given to each contender, but all weaknesses are maintained, as well.

This allows fights with even Neo...while also allowing the matches to take place.

So a matrix is created that preserves Harry Potter's magic while also preserving the force.

Replace just a few words in that sentence for every single versus thread and we can avoid illogical outcomes that versus matchups create such as Luke being from the same Universe that I am from....but from a long time ago. 🙂
