Darth Sidious (Palpatine) vs Snape

Here ya go, babe.

Any attack Sidious tries is not instant. It takes a split second to cast and reach Snape. Snape will be long gone by this time. He will be a thousand feet away, around a corner, safe from harm, and one word will be whispered.

"Confundus."

This turns Sidious into a babbling fool with a chronic case of Sithzeimers. Snape walks over, orders Sidious to eat his lightsaber blade.

Mhm, Snape has himself some fun that night.

nevermind that the force could instantly hold SNAPE in place? He lacks the basic force-shield that even jedi Padawans are taught.

I kinda forgot about the Death Eater's brand of apparition. They turn in to a billow of smoke and blow away. Sidious will just grab on to Snape as he turns in to Dust Man and fry him.

haermm Force "hold" or whatever one calls it won't stop apparition, dude.

What's this force shield shit? In the movies? Quote the scene.

Nope. Apparition is instantaneous. Snape'll be long gone by the time Sidious reacts.

Also, the force won't stop apparition.

basic ability to block a force attack. Snape lacks it.

No, that's the force blocking the force. Just like Harry's battle with Voldemort in GOF, and Dumbledores battle with Voldemort in OOTP.

Wait, those two block the force? SHow me, i missed those parts.

No. The force blocked the force, magic blocked magic.

Yeah I never knew that Harry and Voldemort have fought against Jedi before and developed a technique to block the Force and energy beams.

right... so since you are claiming that the force can't block magic, the logical inverse of that is that magic can't block the force.

Ergo: Snape can't block the force.

It's a pointless and never ending argument as to which blocks which.

One thing we do know is that HP magic is much stronger onscreen than the force. And, since stronger>>>>weaker, well.......

so why did you debate it when I said Snape lacks a force shield?

I was debating the actual existence of a force shield.

ah, well now that we have moved past that... (clever aside by the way)

How familiar are you with HPverse?

Snape has never been shown to instantaneously apparate onscreen.

Even in DH he is a cloud of smoke traveling through the air at some (slow) speed. Not instantaneous.

haermm Other, lesser wizards have. Snape, superior to them, can.

What if I said "Hey, Windu was never shown using force push, so he can't use it here?"

I always wondered why they added that to the films. It's so stupid.

smoke is directable with the force, considering it is matter. He can't get away that way.

So apparate won't work for Snape.
