Classic Beyonder is the most powerful character EVER written by Marvel...and Doom beat him.

Classic Beyonder was (quite literally) a million times more powerful than everything else in the Marvel Universe (with the exception of Classic Molecule Man of course) combined...

And defeating him is a feat beyond ANYTHING Thanos has ever accomplished...

Beat beat him because he absorbed the power intended for Galactus that he was going to use as he took on the Beyonder. So his point is he did it while amped and the beyonder was retconned making him less powerful than eternity or a celestial in the cosmic hierarchy.

Secret wars two were his insane feats where he was stated as being this powerful which was retconned. 🙂

That is impressive to you? It would be impressive if Doom under his own power did a damn thing and actually defeated someone. Problem is, Doom is a scrub and his powers can barely beat the Invisible Woman.. yet you're acting like he can defeat beyonder LOL.

Yeah, don't know if your reasons for getting tired of HeroChat were the same as mine. Mine were the blatant fanboyism that was allowed and the whole "average feats" thing which just turned into, "My guy wins, yours loses as I slant the evidence." Nor did it help that some of the worst offenders when it came to breaking the basic rules were some of the mods.

Yeah, the double standards by the mods were my sole reason for going away from that board for well over a year. What applied to certain posters didn't apply to the more popular ones. I agree with you there.

OOPS. You were right. I just skimmed SW and Doom got aboard Galactus's ship and was able to understand enough of how the tech worked that he then was able to use Klaw as a means of pulling the power Galactus had gathered before Galactus absorbed it. Different than how I thought I remembered it.

I know some will say it was just luck that he got into Galactus's ship while others didn't and luck that Klaw was there and luck that he got those initial readings on the Beyonder. BUT he mostly made his own luck. He was quick-witted and brave enough to follow Galactus instantly while everyone else hesitated and had the means to record and understand the knowledge he gained. He figured out how to get into Galactus's ship and was able to comprehend what he saw even though it awed him. He deduced how he could use the resources he had available (like Klaw) to get the power. So really he made some of those "lucky breaks" for himself.

Given the Destroyer armor and an hour to think it over with his knowledge of sorcery while Thanos gets no prep, it's at least a 50/ 50 proposition.

Thanos is amped almost every freaking time, he receives one upgrade after the other, uses tech and artifacts all the time, and still you dare to complain about Doom being "amped" ?

Doom using his own tech is fine but not being amped by Galactus. Thanos does most things while not amped and when he does happen to become amped it's to ridiculous levels.

Yes, he was amped by Galactus' energies which he himself was attempting to feed off from. If you say he wasn't amped you either didn't read it or comprehend it. Either way I am right.

Didn't Thanos conquer all the conceptual beings and take over the entire multiverse and become all-powerful only to relinquish it of his free choice? All hyped as the Beyonder was and with all his incredible feats pre-retcon, it still took only a combination of Doom and Galactus to beat him. They could have done the same thing by willingly teaming up. And yes, the power screwed up Doom's already unstable mind even more but they still stole the Beyonder's power. If they could do that, he wasn't all-powerful. Thanos with the IG went even further.

True, but I was talking about the time when he stole Galactus powers. He almost did it on the fly, and wasn't amped at all.

You can argue what you want, but Doom stole Galactus powers and Beyonders powers (the last feat had a lot to do with the unbreakable will of Doom...)

Beyonder was beaten by just Galactus' power along with his own. Doom was amped and Beyonder was retconned. LOL.

Thanos' top feats laugh at this guy's best which includes having his iwll broken by the Beyonder. That's unforgivable.

Thanos doesn't break under pressure Doom does.
