Dude, I can't even figure out how to get one of my shouts to work lol. I'm amazed to read that you found an animal empathy shout, because I didn't even know that one of those existed. I've killed several Dragon's, and received a fire breathing shout, but I have no idea of how to activate it. Any ideas?
You need to spend a dragon soul on it by pushing the X button (assuming you're playing the 360 version) on the name of the shout you want. After that, you'll be given an option on whether or not to spend the soul. After you say yes, you should have it already.

Wow, I had souls to spare. Thanks to your assist, I have access to the Fire, and Inferno Shouts. I just killed another Dragon as it resurrected. That catalyst Dragon, was buzzing me and then it took off so, it returned and I saw it from the distance close to the ground, so I ran for what seemed to be a half mile, and saw it doing it's thing. By the way, I sniped the crap out of the Giant, and the two Mammoths close to where I did the Dragon in. This game is too much.

Btw, where do you find those Shouts that slow time and summon a thunder storm? I've collected a bunch of other Shouts but haven't found those yet.
I found the first word for slowing time in one of the civil war quests. The other was from a find the power in Hog's End quest I had.
I also found the first word for the thunderstorm. Can't recall what the place was called but it was near a mountain south of Riften. I had to go through a dragonpriest dungeon.

I'm going after Mercer Frey tonight, gonna get me some Nightingale armor. I'm probably going to be an agent of stealth. Agent of subterfuge looks kinda cool too but I like infiltrators.
I went Stealth as well but you can change once per day.
Dragonpriests are imo the hardest enemies in the game. Dragons are becoming fairly easy, I assume their going to up their game although some are certainly stronger than others in what I have to do to win. Also based on above, I think the shouts you get are random from the certain Dragon stones, because I also have slow time but ive not gone close to the Civil war quests, so I think some may give you bits of one or another, or maybe their all 1 word of time and what you get depends on how far along the line you are.
Archmage now which is sweet, but I want to dabble further into enchanting, I much prefer the look of the Thalmer robes to the Archmage ones.
I'm playing my character like Sam Fisher.
Sneak in and slowly draw my bow back and take out the enemy assassin style. I'm enjoying it quite a bit.
I love how you can be multiple different play styles. A use my bow for pretty much everything, sword for encounters with witches and fire for anything undead.
The game still has a crappy inventory on the PC. Half the time I'm trying to sell/buy anything, I go back to the game inexplicably. I have no idea why it happens. It happens whenever I talk to somebody as well. It's quite annoying.
Throwing this question in here, you guys will decide if I spend an extra $60 on Black Friday mmm
Is any Elder Scrolls game worth it on console? My laptop probably won't run Skyrim at great settings if at all, but I do have a PS3. I would really miss the PC mods, but damn this game looks great. srug
Or is this something I should just rent first haermm

It's not bad on the console. If I were you, I'd get it.
I found a cool looking mask called Volsung that allows my character to water breathe, carry 20 points more, and it improves his speech.
