Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I don't know if I would call this a bug but I completed a thieve guild quest where you get upgraded Thieve Guild armour after exchanging it with the old stuff.

I sold it and I couldn't figure out who I sold it too. Looked in every single seller. I then realized the person I sold it too is the chick that gives the upgraded armour. The problem is that the quest only gives the dialogue option that gives you the armour and the ability to check her inventory. So basically, I can never get it back.

Wierd.

I haven't fully joined the Thieves Guild yet, and so I don't know how good the armor is, but I do know that the Dark Brotherhood has so pretty good armor. I can no longer tell you what the base armor stats are, for the armor because the moment that I acquired the set I improved it to legendary.

However I can tell you the effects each piece gives you.

Shrouded Armor: Increases poison resistance by 50%

Shrouded Boots: Wearer is muffled and moves silently

Shrouded Cowl: Bows do 20% damage.

Shrouded Gloves: Backstab does double damage. <--- This is particularly wicked if you've invested in the Sneak perk called Backstab which does double damage during sneak attacks. With the gloves on that will make it a quadruple 😎.

Cool.

I actually don't really care that I cannot get the upgraded armour but I'm annoyed that I cannot sell anything to her. She's quite convenient fence.

So I finished the main quest and storyline, was a great game. I will probably continue playing this same character until I have done all the major storylines and guilds. My goal atm is to get max enchanting and smithing and although I am a mage, enchant a full set of Deadric armour and upgrade it to the max because that stuff simply looks so much cooler than max gear.

"He is a puppet for the Thalmor, they're using him to cripple the Empire so that the Thalmor can rush in unchallenged and defeat the whole empire. It says it plainly that he is an agent for them."

found in a Thalmor Journal about Ulfric "Traitor" Stormcloak. The dude is pretty much a snake in knight's armor.

Edit: Though I can't seem to take this for face value given that its written by a filthy elf.

Spoiler:
It said later in the book it was because they tortured Ulfric into doing that kind of stuff, but as of now he decided to give the finger to the Thalmor, and they no longer consider him an "active" agent.

well that changes everything, also I learn that Hammerfell fought off the Dominion as well so it is possible for a independant skyrim to do it. How do you think the Stormcloaks respond to a Breton or other none nords joining them. Considering a Breton is a halve elf. The Empire is still looking pretty logical from my standpoint, the problem lies with the Emperor himself. As far as I'm concern, I should be on that throne as I am a Dragonborn after all, and the Emperor is not. In fact where the hell did he come from anyway.

I like that the game lore is mostly found in books written by various characters. Gives that authentic sense of not knowing how much is true

The Daedra put me in a little Battle Royale with this one guy. ****ing awesome.

There's also another perk called Assassin's Blade, where Sneak Attacks with Daggers do 15x damage. Do the Shrouded Gloves Stack with that for 30x damage?

What about this didn't seem like spoiler material to you?

Sorry for not putting it in the spoilers.

It should but I doubt it, because it specifically says "Backstab". Your guess is as good as mine, as I have not gotten my sneak up that high yet, but I'm nearly there. That would be a really cheap way of killing people lol.

Spoiler:
I just received my Nightingale armor from doing Thieves Guild quests, it looks awesome.

Well tbh mate, when people enter a thread like this that concerns the game, they must somewhere know that there is a possiblity of them getting more knowledge then they wanted. I had that experience when I read about Arkham City.

I figured that wouldn't be much of a problem when just a few pages earlier in this thread people were explicitly asked to use spoiler tags.

Still, you got to expect that you might some spoiler related.

I usually stay far away from threads when I'm playing the game.

But for some reason, I don't really care about this game because it's not really about the story for me.

I still wouldn't like to read anything but it's not really a big deal.

And it's not like anything huge has been spoiled, either, in my opinion, at least.

Should I become a vampire or a werewolf?

Vampire. It's more rewarding sneaking into peoples homes and drinking their blood.

You can make a game out of it and try and score some royal babe blood.
Learn good sneak and invisibility and it's a good challenge.

You must be a real Tenchu fan huh?

I honestly think that the Vampire role sucks crap, because of the sunlight situation. Also you become pretty ugly when the novelty of being undead wears off, and how it becomes a chore to keep sneaking up on people while they are asleep and pillaging pints of blood from them.
