Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

neither hold any real bonus tbh, vampires are statwise superior but thats not much use in the grand scheme of play, as Stoic says its a pain in the sunlight, not as bad as Oblivion but still a pain, especially if your not a mage.

Can't you be in sunlight for a day after feeding?

I dont know, it doesnt bother me because all sunlight does is lower your stats a little and stop your natural regen of health/magick/stam but since i use so much regen bonus equipment being a mage I just use healing to pump all my stuff up when I need to. Add the sneak, poison and other bonuses (night vision for one) for Vamps and their better than the wolf form, that I do not use at all other than to impress friends watching.

But as I say, vampirsm is a chore sometimes, having to leave what I am doing because I have to feed or become hated can be either annoying or challenging to get to a body and eat. Again though, being a mage helps in this.

oh it doesn't actually hurt you this game, like it did in the last two?

No you dont take any damage.

Sorry to double post but I wonder, has anyone else become an agent to the divines, either Dibella or mara? I was curious if there were more, if you could become an agent to all of them.

I honestly think that the Vampire role sucks crap, because of the sunlight situation. Also you become pretty ugly when the novelty of being undead wears off, and how it becomes a chore to keep sneaking up on people while they are asleep and pillaging pints of blood from them.

So werewolf then.

I went with the Werewolf, because I can cure myself at any time, and the only hassle you have is that you don't get the well rested bonus, but it's a fair trade for never being able to catch a disease. You have to ask yourself if you want to go sneaking around as a vampire to feed, in exchange for the bonuses that it gives. I'm pretty badass without the extra bonuses, so I opted not to become a vampire, and just hunt them wherever they hide... bwu ha ha ha ha ha. Lol it's really up to you though.

The bonuses frankly aren't that great for a non-thief anyway, IMHO.

Wow I've always wanted to do that to that little brat girl that keeps saying how she is unafraid of me. Oh, and the guy who keeps telling you what's wrong with Skyrim.

*goes to download that kill kids mod*

Spoiler:
I used to do this trick in Oblivion to max out levels. I would get arrested, and sent to jail, and this would lower my level in certain skills so that I could continue to level up albeit at a slower pace. I wonder if this trick would also work in Skyrim?

Kay, so I went to kill a Giant at the Sleeping Tree Camp, and ended up having to fight off 2 Dragons (albeit, a low level Blood Dragon, and one of the named ones, Vuljotnaak I believe, who was just getting revived by Alduin), two Mammoths, and the Giant in question. 😐

Damn, this game's epic.

Anyone fought those Ancient Dragons? The lower level ones may be easy but its one of the hardest dragons in the game, it can one shot me although being a wizard i should have stood back, I killed it using similiar tactics (but more movement) than the others but their definatly far far harder, pretty much one shots my Dremora lord as well.

Also, it seems common for an extra dragon to spawn if you fight an Elder or Ancient, so far I have always fought two dragons at once if I face one of those, fortunatly, the other one is usually a softer one like frost.

This game is soo much ****ing win.

Almost done all the Thieves Guild quests (the job and special jobs quest)

I'm thinking of doing the College quest line after that and then going with Brotherhood. Finishing up with Civil Quests. I think.

Agreed, at the moment I would say I am fairly close to completion. I have a couple of Daedric princes to do work for and need to finish the Dark brotherhood and then, important questwise I am more or less finished. I still stand by the statement its the best game I have ever played. Even better, given a few more months and there will probably be some major Skyrim mods, there are already a handfull of interesting ones out there but I used to love the Oblivion overhauls.

I guarantee the modders will give us more than Dragons to fight in the skies, I see a re-skin for giant eagles, wyverns and all kinds of flying beasts aside from new Dragons on top of those we already have.

Fighting dragons at the start was awesome and epic.

But it's gets old. It's like seeing a monster movie and seeing the monster at the very start and for a long time. It loses it's momentum.

If you fought a dragon every 5-10 hours then I think that would be better.
