Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I'm currently playing a new character and not fast traveling anywhere, and I was really surprised to find how much more engrossing the game and the world becomes. You find so much awesome stuff just wandering around.

I didn't like exploring or walking around in FO3 or New Vegas, but that was probably because I did not like the setting at all. Skyrim would likely be different since I quite enjoy a fantasy setting.

Thoughts? 🙂

Is this something you wrote? It cannot find that text anywhere on the internet so it was either a private message or original work by you. Content tells me that it wasn't a private message.

I can reply to it as an outsider. I have never played an EotS game until Skyrim.

Well, he did say it's something a friend of his wrote.

Yeah, it's personal opinion. All three are great games.

I can't get into Kilkreath temple. I've started the Meridia quest and talked to her up in the air like all the guides say but the door to the temple is still locked...

That is odd. As far as I can tell by looking up the quest and the area, this is a bug that is not common, as it is not listed at all.

Remember that there are two doors to Kilkreath, are you trying to go through the right one?

Both are locked. 🙁

I really don't know what to tell you then. 🙁

uesp.net says nothing about this bug, because apparently it doesn't happen often, I assume.

And the quest is directing you to the door? You have gotten the orb so you have the light to guide?

Else I'll suggest using the console command to open the door or try and reset the quest to a certain stage with the getstage command.

Lol I found the right door and felt like an idiot after...but even though that wasn't a bug there WAS a bug when I tried finishing the quest.

I got Dawnbreaker but that ***** Meridia just stranded me up there and didn't even talk to me.

She stranded you in the sky?

Happened to me once, too. haermm Skyrim had me saving every few minutes. 😐

"No bug? Good. SAVE."

I have a bug that made my High Elf shrink in height, and now he's shorter than a Nord, and growing shorter as I continue to play. I thought that it was my imagination at first, and then really noticed the difference when I stood close to another High Elf. I was like, what the hell is going on. He may be the same height as a Red Guard at this point. Gonna check it out.

I've pretty much kicked the arse out of this game. I've ran out of missions on it. Still probably the greatest game I've ever played though.

Any word yet on any DLC for this game....ON CONSOLE?

No word for any DLC.

mmm

I'll be happy to have DLC for this game after I get all the original achievements, which I'm really close to doing.
