- Revolves around the return of a vampire lord named Harkon who wants to put an end to the vampires greatest enemy - the sun.

- Choose to fight either alongside the Dawnguard to hunt vampires or join Harkon. A lot of unique content depending on which side you choose. Includes one brand new home for each side.

- If you decide to join Harkon's side, you can become a "Vampire Lord" with new powers and the ability to exit vampire form at will.

- New perk tree for Vampire Lords as well as werewolves.

- Gargoyles, death hounds and armored trolls are all new high level beasts for Dawnguard including "legendary" dragons.

- A few quests take place in Oblivion which includes the Soul Cairn.

- Players will be able to change their face and gender of their character in Riften's Ratway now and crossbows are confirmed to be a new weapon. Additionally, there are new shouts such as "Soul Tear" where you can seal the soul of a dead enemey and use it as a minion.

I just wish it wasn't filled with those repulsive Falmer. I feel bad killing those poor people who serve them.

For some reason, just about every enemy mage I fight now spams Ice Storm. What's up with that?

Dawnguard kicks ass. First playthrough, I played Vampire Lord and it's way better than Werewolf x10.

Finally got an opportunity to at least try this game. After escaping the initial attack, the very first thing I did was scale that mountain to the Throat of the World. It was pretty damn awesome, looking back down at where I'd started and seeing everything before me.

Yes. I was amazed at how beautiful that was. Sometimes, I would just stop and look around at the scenery.
