He caught the black hole before it released. The black hole didn't fully leave its magnetic field yet. After that scan they fully contain it and get rid of it in a vacuum.
As for your comment on glads vs supes powers, imo gladiator powers is more enhanced. Gladiator xray vision has seen galactus on the other side of the universe. Gladiator super hearing has also done the same things. His freeze breath has also held high class 100s in place.

you do know what a magnetic field is, right?
and superman's is still more impressive, imo, based on his showings against high cl 100s like Darkseid and Cannibal Planets that eat stars. his senses are beyond gladiator's, too.

Gladiator has also fought planets like ego and did quite well. I'm basing everything off of his power, his power is more impressive than Supes. Imo he is stronger, faster, senses are far better, contains more abilities, and more durable. Superman just have more showings under his belt, that's why he seems more impressive.
