Giant mutated Bear from prophecy? Is that a movie?

I figure, if a kodiak bear can be 10 ft tall and weigh 1400 lbs, at 15 ft tall, 'Katahdin' (as it was called) would probably weigh at least 4500 lbs: a significant mass advantage even over Gustave. Plus, it was able to walk across the bottom of a lake w/o drowning.

Thinking about it: if the Lake Placid croc masses at 3-4 tons, yeah, it's still gonna win.

Real fight > Animal face-off.

Tigers are larger, stronger, faster, more agile, lighter on their feet, have a better style of fighting (swiping with 2 paws > 1), and arguably more intelligent. Their bite force is also over 400 pounds more.

In that Zoo in Asia with lions and tigers in the same exhibit, the lions start fights with the tigers, get their ass kicked, and then back down.

Charles freaking Darwin said he saw a tiger escape from his exhibit at a zoo, then break into the lion's exhibit and kill the alpha male. He said something like "The lion's mane protected its neck, but that didn't stop the tiger from ripping open the lion's belly."

It's kind of difficult to come back from 2 lions failing to beat one tiger, lol.

^Just watch this video. It shows a lot of footage of smaller tigers beating larger lions and brings up a few good points.

That's fair. Wolverines have been known to chew their own legs off when they get caught in traps (and they don't get caught very often, because they're very smart).
