I wonder what the next event arc be like? Asgardians are not gods, but high alien life form? 😄
Just read fear#6, The serpent stands with 6 worthy, but Hulk is no where in sight... He fighting the vampires. Sadly all of Hulks opponents are monsters, vampires, and gods. Are they trying to keep his image squeaky clean? : /
Monkey King #1 tie in, wasn't interesting, but I'm happy to know he wasn't the orginal monkey king, but only an avatar.
Originally posted by vansonbeeNo it was in a Dr Strange book and Cyttorak was explaining that he didn't care how his name was spread as long as it was spread. Good or bad.
Was it in the same context as this situation, where there 2 gods using the same avatar?BTW nearly forgotten about this event... its not memorable as the Skrull invasion or Civil War : /
Originally posted by vansonbeeI agree, Journey has been awesome. Mephisto still left alot open for interpretation. Bartender should have given him pretzels though
Journey Into Mystery 627 - this was very interesting issue, even though Fear Itself arc is bad, the tie in aren't, this issue even talked in more details of the gods of Earth, Devils (cytorack, sutur etc...) and even LT.Best so far for me.

Edit:
Why doesn't Odin blow up Earth again? The latest FI issue seemed to suggest he can't and, as much as the current portrayal of him isn't really as impressive, I'd still think him as capable of that.
Yea. Fraction obviously has the capabilities to write good stories -Casanova, Iron Man- and this proves he can write good Asgardian related stories. It suggests that he's been phoning it in until now with Thor which pisses me off more then when I thought he just sucked on Thor.

Yeah. I wonder when Bor was around then.
Originally posted by PhilosophíaYeah that was weird. Was that always the plan? To just scorch the earth? Wasn't their more to it than that?

Originally posted by PhilosophíaI missed the FI issue have any scans but Iam guessing that the other god heads wouldn't like that and the least of all Gaea is earth so i don't think Odin would try to destroy the planet heck we saw he a few issues back restore Asgard as a war world in a few panels

I immensely enjoyed JIM 627. Kieron Gillen knows how to write mystical/mythical figures that's sorely lacking in fraction.
I also really liked the view of all the lords of the splinter realms/devil pretenders jockeying for position in front of the vacant throne of the "true" Satan.
