I'd add Avengers Academy to that list too.

Ok so I just thought about something

Ironman was supposed to design these weapons that gave them a chance, but really what did he design and how did he make them any better than what the dwarfs could do, since it was mostly Odin's enchantment that empowered them anyways.

So really what did Ironman do besides draw them and help forge them what did he add to them that made them so great?

I'm pretty sure the Chain & Rock is some sort of martial arts thing so yeah it fits in for Iron Fist

.

It may be, but there are much more fitting Martial arts weapons for Iron Fist than that one. Looks kind of silly with him imo

Tony Stark provided the greatest gift of all: a child's laughter.

YouTube video

Tony reinvented ball & chain, you can't compete against that.

his repulsor tech was integrated in them and without that the weapons would have been useless. 😐

Winter Soldier returning it seems.

Honestly, if Brubaker said "Eff Fraction, he's not dead" I'd have no problems with that at all. Assuming it's not Bucky, is there any likely candidates on who the new Winter Soldier could be?

Knowing Brubaker it's either Bucky or an obscure Captain America character nobody has heard about in years that's replacing Bucky.

They released a teaser a couple weeks / months ago at some con. It was the Winter Soldier Redstar with the tag line "What if there was more than one?"

So clone Bucky's or simple more brainwashed sleeper agents.

"I knew 90% of the angry 'You killed Bucky' fans were fans who were upset that I brought him back in the first place who I had won over. Hopefully I will be able to win them back again." - Ed Brubaker

Ed says the idea for Steve Rogers to return as Captain America and Bucky to go back to being the Winter Soldier with his own book has been the plan for some time. What changed was Bucky was initially going to "die" at the end of the Gulag storyline and disappear for a few months, but when Fear Itself came along, it made more sense to do it there.

Details from that Gulag storyline, especially the revelation that Bucky has secrets in his head about other Russian weapons and sleeper agents, will lead right into Winter Soldier.

"This is me trying to create a book that is James Bond meets Splinter Cell in the Marvel Universe." -Ed Brubaker

According to Tom, only Cap, Nick Fury and Black Widow will know Bucky is still alive.

"That's not to say he will not encounter other Marvel characters, but it will be in the shadows. If people know Bucky is still alive, that's a problem for Cap too, who knows he's doing stuff not exactly to the letter of the law." -Tom Brevoort

"There will be some classic Marvel bad guys involved in the series, but a lot of stuff in the first few arcs will be new characters with ties to Bucky's secret past during the Cold War and throughout his history." -Ed Brubaker

"This is a guy who for years was operating in a semi-amnesiac state where he did reprehensible things. Stepping back into this world is going to have a major effect on him. It's a dangerous tightrope to walk. There's nothing to say he won't crack." - Tom Brevoort

Strommy asking if Bucky will get new powers from the Infinity Formula ala Mockingbird. The answer is no. Mockingbird got an Infinity Formula/Super-Soldier Serum cocktail.

Well, at least it's the real Bucky according to Brubaker. 👆

Good, I'm adding this to my pull list 🙂

Did'nt mind this event it was okay but not fantastic could've done a bit more with Book 7

Fear Itself: The Fearless is a good read for a follow up.

It's been a while since we got a Fantastic Four themed event, right? I mean, Doomwar was technically BP's.

Am I alone to think that Fear Itself sucked ass?

Fear Itself wasnt THAT bad. It wasnt really anything special but it had its moments.

It wasn't good enough to be an all encompasing event, but I see it as a decent Avengers arc, which is more than I can tell from several of the past events. Chaos War, Siege and Secret Invasion were just inferior imo.
