Marvel's Newest Event - Fear Itself

Matt Fraction was asked what "Fear Itself" is actually about. "The Red Skull discovers that Odin isn't the All Father. She frees him and is transformed into a deity for it," said the writer. The rest of the panel took comedic issue at this uncharacteristic news item in the Q and A session and chuckled at Fraction's choice.

facepalm

If anyone disagrees with Fraction being the worst writer in Thor history, they don't deserve to have an opinion. Seriously.

She frees him? As in, Red Skull?

So some random Asgardian deity we never heard about until now who is actually > Odin?

M'kay.

🤨 And here I thought it was about Phobos getting a big push as an intergalactic force or something. Meh!

I suppose, Sin's a girl.

This sounds very refreshing. I look forward to this.

Yeah Red Skull's daughter has taken her fathers name. Didn't I say this would happen a few pages back? 😖hifty:

You'd beg him to pee in your mouth if he'd have Thor perform some high-end feats, so it's all relative.

what do they mean by "The All Father"
Do they mean he isnt the most powerful skyfather or he isnt supposed to be asgards skyfather?

I think Fraction is going to reveal that before Odin, there was another All Father that Odin screwed over to become the new All Father. His probably going to ignore, Buri, Bor and the Odin/Asgardian origin shown so far.

Whether All Father means the most powerful or the highest ranked Asgardian, I have no clue.

How exactly does Fraction expect this to work?

I'm no Hulk fan or Superfag. You can't satisfy me with feats. Good stories, characterization and pacing matters to me. Fraction could have Thor busting Galaxies and I'd still want him off the title. We'd just have a con about his run that could entertain me.

Someone on CBR said he was just joking. Anyone else come to that conclusion? Too much nerd rage coursing through my system for me to be objective.

I like her, but she's in the stupid side of chaos. Poor twisted kid and whoever her mother was.

I seriously wonder why Marvel writers think these "epic tweests" are what people want.

My lord I hate it when I agree with you but you have his number here.

Oh the irony. You're a perfect example of what he said. The Imperative was horrible for Thanos characterization wise and you ate it up like a cum hungry Philo.
