Throwing out words without proof? Ive read through this thread and many sound arguments have been made against Frieza winning this. What I did was make a logical assessment about what Freiza can and cannot do based upon the manga that I read and the episodes on toonami that I grew up on as a child.
The only reason that I even listed buu was because he is such a hax that even thanos would be hard pressed to actually destroy him with nothing being left if buu didnt fight like an idiot (which he would lol). It was PIS that he was even destroyed imo, and the assumed galaxy busting feat only adds to that.

I was attempting to apply dragonball z to comic book characters but it just does not translate well. While Goku and Freiza's travel flight speed may eclipse thanos' flight travel speed (via flight, based upon the fact that Ive never truly seen him fly...), he can still teleport and his reaction time has been shown sufficient to stomp ftl characters such as surfer. Also there is NO indication that dragonball z characters are faster than light other than little lines across the characters image whenever they speed up, so I dont know where you're getting that... :/
Besides even if they are as fast as light, thats still slow enough for thanos to oneshot most of them imo. Dragonball z characters don't really have good durability... I mean all it takes is a trip through the sun for most of them... which also raises a question about the true power of their ki blasts, I mean sun> ki blast? If so, just about any energy manipulating, super speed mid herald will stomp frieza.

Tbh, it is practically outright said in Dragonball z the anime and the manga that Dragonball z characters are not faster than light. Goku had instant transmission, guess how fast it was... as fast as light. Not faster. Just as fast as. Even Cell was outdone by this technique, how do you think that Frieza would fare?
Now thanos' reflexes are at least as fast as light judging by his showings. Frieza is not evading him. At least not his exotic powers; also due to Frieza's up close fighting style, he will most likely be tagged. In this battle, Frieza being tagged= KO at least.

Yes thanos is touching him. All it will take is one hit or one energy blast hotter or as hot as the sun. That is something that he can and will do.

Seriously though, as I said before, Dragonball Z feats and comic book feats do not compare well. I mentioned buu as a suggestion, but only because of his ridiculous energy output and ability to bounce back from almost anything, his durability is in a class by itself when compared to other Dragonball z characters. Cell would last longer than Freiza, as would Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta, but they would eventually fall. Because for all of their ridiculous energy feats, they're still around mid to high herald in energy output, not durability, speed or strength, which is why it is so hard to quantify their standing by comic book standards.
