I don't think its a failed thread... you have some of the best debators on kmc coming in here voting for frieza. Stiltman, jinzin, galan, and I know one dumb wants to come in here and say something since he did say frieza first form would destroy thor buuut, one dumb kimd of stay out of trouble.
The only peeps that are disagree with frieza winning is the norm that doubts the power level scaling and doubts the character words that are coming out of their mouths about their abilities. I can understand if cell said "I'm about to destroy the solar system" and someone who can read his power level say "he doesn't have that much power, etc, etc..." THEN that would be a dispute against his powerlevel but that's not what happened.
EVERYONE attacked cell right after this statement and did everything to prevent this from happening.
Then you have to think about this, roshi had a power level of 100 and during the end of db (not dbz) roshi stated that goku could generate FAR more power than him. Now remember, roshi destroyed a moon and again, he only had a power level of 100... the more powerful you get the more power you can generate. This was proven when piccolo (who had a power level of 300 shot a blast at the earth and goku over powered his blast and goku had a power level of 350. That small dent in power level made a change in the power struggle. With that said, if roshi could destroy a moo, imagine what someone in the billions could do. Then goku while having a power level of 350 and piccolo having a power level of 300, goku was MUCH faster than him and even proved that he was stronger than an 100 ft tall piccolo that amped.
It has been proven on to many of occasions that power level is the key at beating someone and generating more power along with it making you more durable, stronger, and faster.... and if people don't realize this, that's when the war will continue.
As for your bias comment... I agree with that as well.

Pr, you know me and you know I agree with this. I make mistakes sometimes as well, I'm not at my perfection state yet (almost there though).

Galan said he wasn't sure, or didn't care. Regardless there are those on both sides, and as I said before I see where both sides are coming from. These types of threads are just a mess to argue here, when people use high showings from comic characters and engage in feat wars, and other people use low showings and power stacking.

Though, all threads have this to a degree, everyone has a different view on a character. That's just how it is. Although in other media, all battles aren't just won by power, but by strategy.

I agree with this and during the beginning galan voted for frieza but he got attacked and that's when he said he didn't care.
As for your dbz comment on when it stops... well there are statements and quotes out there that can help you. Kind of like when supreme ki was talking about buu and stated that kid buu destroyed a galaxy... vegeta then smiles and say "he sounds like a powerful opponent, sounds like he is as powerful as frieza". There are more descriptions of their power and what they are capable of.

By doing that you're allowing comic statements like Spider-Man being 40x faster than human, able to break Logan's neck. Sentry stalemating Galatcus, etc.
